After four months of his secret relationship and a year of him hiding his sexuality from his parents,Renjun decided that it was time to confess.
His parents were in a good mood this whole week,and he was glad.
Like every family,his too,has ups and downs.Maybe the downs happen more often,but it doesn't mean that his parents don't love each other any less.
His mom was preparing lunch,while his dad was watching a football game.
It was peaceful.The only thing that could be heard was the TV in the distance.
"Mom,dad.I have to tell you something" Renjun started as he took a deep breath "I like someone."
His mom smiled warmly while his dad asked "Who's the lucky girl?"
"Uh..." Renjun stuttered,his eyes fixated on the empty plate in front of him "It's actually a he..."
Everything fell silent for a second.
"Oh my baby!"His mom said as she came to the boy and hugged him "Congratulations!I am glad you had the courage to admit something so big.I hope you weren't scared.We will always support you no matter what."
His dad,stood up and chuckled "Ah my son is all grown up" and then pulled him into a tight hug.
That day,was one of the happiest days of Renjuns' life.
