Chapter Nine: Letter

Okay. Last time I'm going to start with an Author's note unless it's important.
How the hell did this book get up to 1K reads so quickly? I'm super happy because usually that doesn't happen.

"Wait! No! Don't scream!" Galacta Knight shouts through the window. You calm down a little, but still don't know what's going on.
"What do you want?" You ask sternly, "I have been training with Meta Knight!" You warn. Laughter rings through your ears.

"Oh that's a good one. You? Fight with me?" He continues to laugh. You sigh, this wasn't going anywhere. You open the window, slightly.
"What do you want then?" You ask again.
"I haven't given up on you."
You make a face.

"BUT, I won't fight with Meta Knight. I know what happiness is and I know that's something you have lots of when you are with him. SO, instead since I am still recuperating and since I'm still not used to this planet, I'll live here normally in the woods for awhile. My main motive is to be there to protect you if... if Meta Knight isn't there! Alright?!" Galacta Knight looks away, and you giggle. So basically, he just wants to be by your side for as long as possible.
Though that may just be a plan for attack later, you decide to trust him for now.

"Alright." You say. You see Galacta Knight turn a brighter shade of pink for a moment when you smile at him.
"Don't tell Meta Knight about this." Is all he says as he flies off.

The next morning, you wake up to another nice day. Melman comes in and hands you a letter, which you happily accept. You look at the sender.

And your expression darkens. It's from your parents.

Allow me to explain why you, Y/N is now afraid of your parents.
Guess how long you were supposed to stay at Cappy Town.

Ready?
Three days.

How long has it been?
2 months.

Honestly, you had to persuade for hours to get those three days. Your parents are very strict, and did not want you to leave the house on any circumstances.
So you were told to meet your friend, break ties with your friend, and return.

Of course you didn't do that though! You wanted a free life. Now, this letter is trying to take that away from you.
Your parents are coming.

Gloomily, you make breakfast.

"Is something the matter?" Meta Knight asks. You jump in surprise and realize that you are burning the bacon.
"Oh! I'm sorry." You tremble a little as you quickly take the bacon out.
Meta Knight walks up and hugs you from behind,
"What's wrong?" He whispers into your ears. You shiver a little but smile.

You slowly explain everything about your parents to him.

"So, you really should have been home way before now?" He asks. You nod.
"That's... humorous." He chuckles.
"I don't know what to say. My parents are asking me to come home right away but I know what will happen if I do so." You look down to the floor. He pats your back.
"Stay here. Everyone here will understand, you know that." Meta Knight says.
You feel slightly relieved.

But not when you decide to read the second page.

"If you do not come home in within a week, we shall come and get you instead"
