Above is the video I watched in fourth grade to learn about coordinating conjunctions. I would like to talk about both subordinating and coordinating conjunctions in Spanish. We'll start with the age-old FANBOYS acronym in English and translate it into Spanish.

For: porque (this also means "because")

And: y (except for nouns that start with i or hi, in which case it will be e instead)

Nor: ni

But: pero

Or: o

Yet: sin embargo

So: tan (unless you're using it as so much/so many, in which case you use tanto and follow Spanish adjective rules for it)

There are subordinating conjunctions in Spanish too!

Que - that, than: Él dijo que tú eres un pavo. (He says that you are a turkey).

Mientras - while: Mientras él dijo eso.... (While he said that...)

Desde que - since: Desde que él dijo eso.... (Since he said that....)

Porque - because: Porque él dijo eso....

Apenas - as soon as: Apenas yo dice eso....

Those are the main ones, but some of them were covered in previous sections, such as when, where, etc.
