Reality Ever After: The next years

Aga was just staring at Lea. She's been sleeping for ten hours already. He's no longer worried about her condition because the doctor have talked to him few minutes after Lea was admitted but he also wanted to kick himself for not being able to look after Lea and notice the changes.

Ford came in and sat beside him. "Now, you understand us?"

"Yeah. It's family over work. That should be always." Aga said.

"It's your time to do your part. Ginawa na niya yung part niya, ikaw naman." Ford said and handed him a cup of coffee.

"What did the doctor advised?" Ford asked.

"Doc. Athena advised to let her eat a lot of food that are rich in nutrients and protein. She's lacking also in vitamins that's why she prescribed her vitamins and let her stay away from fatty dishes. Bawal din daw siyang malipasan ng gutom, no to stress, no heavy works muna daw." Aga narated all the things the doctor have said earlier.

"You do know that she lost weight, right? Napansin ko lang ngayon na tinititigan ko siya."

"Yeah, I also noticed kaninang naga-away kami. I called Teetin if kumakain ba si Lea sa office and she said that she barely eats her lunch and would rather do her work... para matapos niya kaagad yung trabaho at makauwi kaagad." Aga felt guilty for not being able to understand her work load and now this is his consiquence.

Of course he won't be able to control Lea's work especially that her work requires a lot of time and detication. He doesn't want that he'll be Lea's down fall. Aga doesn't want to be the reason why she'll lose everything that she have worked for years before he even came in the scene.

"You should have seen her face when we were celebrating for Sophie's award. She was so proud and happy but at the same time you can see that there's something that's missing. You're the one who's missing." Said Ford.

"I don't know what happened to me. Hindi ko din alam. Basta ang nasa isip ko, ginagawa ko 'to para sa kanila, para sa pamilya namin. Pero ngayon na nakikita ko na yung epekto, I'll start to control my time and be more a dotting husband and father."

Aga looked at Lea and held her hand. She looks so pale and he knows that it's his fault.

Ford stood up and patted his shoulder. "I'll be going. Hinihintay na nila ako sa labas. We just checked on Ate Lea talaga."

"Kayo na muna bahala kay Sophie, ha? Salamat sa lahat, Ford." Aga said and smiled at him.

"Wala yun. Basta h'wag mo nalang ulit papabayaan si Ate kung hindi tototohanin ko yung sinabi ko na sisipain kita sa puwet mo. "

"Sira! Alis na." Aga said and stood up and pushed him to the door which caused them to laugh a little.

Aga is getting bored and he has nothing to do. He just browsed his social media accounts and he didn't noticed that he was humming a song then singing it already.

"Mahal pa rin kitaaaaa! Oh giliw... oh giliw..." Aga sang with feelings.

"Shhh. Aga stop singing." Lea mumbled. Aga looked at her and saw that she's covering her eyes with her hand.

"Love? Gising ka na ba, Love?" Aga asked and held her hand.

"You're singing woke me up. Tell me who wouldn't wake up?" Lea whispered still adjusting to the bright light.

"Grabe ka naman, Love." Aga said and kissed her forehead.

Aga was just staring at her. He doesn't know if she knows it already but a part of his mind that she doesn't know it yet because if she does she wouldn't strave herself.
