So before I start this chapter I want to say this might be a little different. For this chapter I am making it reader insert.
What you need to know is

h/c: hair colour

e/c: eye colour

y/g: whatever gender or pronouns you go by (ex: she,her, he,him them,they, or if you go by something else)

f/s: favourite clothing store

F/f: favourite food

f/a: favourite article of clothing (ex. Dress,shorts,pants)

f/c: favourite colour

Ash's pov

April :

Dear diary it has been a few weeks since Jonathan adopted me, and honestly it has been the best weeks of my life. He treats me like his own flesh and blood. He has showed me how to play video games, he lets me watch when he plays video games with his friends. I love it here.

I closed up my diary and stuck it back in to the drawer in my desk. I walked down stairs to see Jonathan sitting in the living room reading something on his phone.

"Hey Jonathan, I was wondering if I could go to the mall?"

Jon sat up and looked at me, I suddenly got really nervous, why on earth would I ask that? I don't have any money so I couldn't buy anything. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Jon shaking me gently.

"Did you hear what I said Ash?" He asked

"No sorry."

"I said yeah"

He got up and walked towards the front door.

"Um where are you going?" I asked

"I'm going to drive you to the mall"

"You are still in your pyjamas."

He looked down to see he is still wearing his pjs. He looked back at me and just shrugged and grabbed the keys.

"Let's go."

I ran to catch up to him.

Time skip

I Waved goodbye to Jonathan as he dropped me off in front of the mall. On the way over he told me to just text him when I wanted to be picked up.

Turning around I walked into the mall with $200 dollars to spend I didn't know where to start. I walked to the opposite end of the mall deciding I will just work my way back to the front. I walked into the first store which was Old Navy, I walked into the store feeling like everyone's eyes were on me, I could feel my anxiety start to kick in. I tried to block it out and continue. I came across a super cute off the shoulder black dress. Finding they only had my size left I took it off the hook Looking for the price tag, it was only $34 bucks, happy with the price I got it. I continue to look around the store for more things that caught my eyes, I came across a short sleeve shirt that was navy blue and it was only $17 bucks. Happy with what I found I walked to the cashiers and paid for my stuff. I only spent $52.53

As I was leaving old navy I was looking down at my phone to see what time it was, not paying attention I bumped into someone and we both fell to the ground.

"Oh crap I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention, are you okay? I asked frantically

"It's okay I'm fine" y/g said as y/g got off the ground and dusted themselves off. y/g stuck  hand out towards me
