Jesse Polock

(I know that Jethro is the one that popped his shoulder out but I'm going to write it as if it was Jesse")

Working as a lifeguard at Bondi Beach was a dream come true for me and the experience was made even better by the people that I am surrounded by. I became a trainee the same year as Maxi and we both became fully fledged lifeguards together, we had been best friends since the first day of training and when Jesse joined the team a few seasons later due to him being the same age as Maxi and I we were all able to instantly get along. We had been working together for the past three years now whereas Maxi and I had been working together for the past five. 

Today I was stationed in the Rhino  at the South Corner with Harries whilst Jesse was out on the jet ski bringing people in and Maxi was in the tower. After a few rescues it was time for Jesse, Maxi and I to go for our lunch break. Maxi was already in the tower waiting for us to meet him, so I waited for Reidy to make his way to us on the quad so that we could switch places, he took my place in the Rhino before I began driving up the beach to where I could see Jesse. "Yo Jesse, you coming for lunch?" Maxi's energetic voice came through the radio as he spotted me making my way down the beach, "Yeah, I'm coming now" Jesse responded before he turned the jet ski towards the beach and made his way in close to where I was standing. As the jet ski got onto the sand I could see Jesse jolt forwards and I instantly knew that something was wrong. I drove towards him as fast as I could as I watched him get off the jet ski and fall to the floor cradling his arm.

"Jesse" I shouted as I stopped the quad and hopped off, kneeling down beside him. He groaned before looking up at me and then back towards his shoulder, I looked towards his shoulder and I could tell that it had popped out of place. I could see the tears welling in his eyes as I spoke "let's get you up" I said before moving towards him to wrap my arms around his waist to stand him up. I looked between Jesse and the quad for a moment before speaking up again, "Right, if you get on then I'll go behind you and steer so that you don't have to hold onto anything". I looked at him for confirmation and he nodded slightly before climbing onto the quad, I got on behind him placing my arms on either side of him before I started the engine and began driving towards the tower. 

"Whats going on (Y/N)?" I heard Maxi through the radio, "Jesse's popped his shoulder out of place, we're coming to the tower now" I responded as I felt Jesse leaning into me so that he could sit comfortably. As we reached the tower I turned the ignition off and got off the quad before grabbing Jesse good arm to help him off too. I wrapped an arm around his waist to support him as we walked up the stairs to the tower and sat him down on the bed. "Green whistle?" Maxi asked coming towards us, I chuckled slightly, "Well our day is about to get a lot more fun" I joked before moving away from the boys to prepare the whistle. When I moved back towards the medical bay I saw that Jesse was now sat upright cross legged in the middle of the bed, I smiled at him before handing him the whistle and sitting down next to him.

Five Minutes Later

I could feel myself beginning to smirk as I watched Jesse beginning to space out, "Shit, we forgot to call the ambulance" Maxi announced before moving towards the phones. I turned to look at Jesse, "How are you feeling?" I asked him chuckling slightly at the face he was pulling as he turned to face me , "You're pretty" he said whilst touching my face as Maxi came back and started laughing, "Thanks Jess, but how are you feeling?" I asked with a blush tinting my cheeks. "It hurts" he whined and I could see Maxi getting another green whistle, "Here, put this in your mouth" Maxi joked passing the green whistle to Jesse. Jesse took it in his hands, looking at it for a moment before he looked up at Maxi again, "You know what I'd rather have in my mouth?" he asked teasingly before looking towards me, his eyes lowering slightly to look at my breasts before he looked back into my eyes grinning cheekily causing both Maxi and I to start laughing to the point where there were tears forming in our eyes. 

For the next couple of minutes Jesse was sat next to me touching my face and throwing compliment after compliment at me, making my cheeks more and more red. I could see Maxi from the corner of my eye with tears streaming down his face as he laughed hysterically at the interactions between me and a very high Jesse. "He's so out of it" Maxi said laughing even harder, it was at this moment that I looked back towards Jesse to see him already facing me, his faces barely an inch away from mine as he leaned slightly closer. As he leaned even closer again as if he was going to kiss me, I leaned back slightly and turned my head back to look at Maxi "He's so high, I don't think he even knows who I am" I joked whilst laughing along with Maxi, "I know exactly who you are (Y/N)" Jesse spoke causing me to look towards him suddenly. As I did this he leaned in closer to me again, "If you know it's me, why did it look as if you're trying to kiss me" I asked blushing once more. 

"Because you're beautifu-" I cut him off, "Jess-" I say warily before he cuts me off, "And I love you. I always have" he spoke before he leaned in once more and his lips gently brushed against my own, he paused slightly as if checking what my reaction would be. When I didn't move away from him, he leaned in once more, this time pressing his lips firmly against my own. 

"I love you too Jess"
