I was swept off by it's cover alone and it's blurb. I definitely made it my assignment to see it's content. This book tells an amazing story of the African Politicians, corruption and adventures of a rebellious teen. It's a must read. The adventures Moe had with Dare is a rare one. It also emphasizes on how we Nigerians view our leaders and how their children feel knowing how corrupt their parents are.

And family issues such as Child preference gives a blow to ones self esteem and makes one feel worthless. There are a lot to learn from it. By Finest_Wine

Boys over Books takes am exceptional lead. I was firstly awed by it's wonderful cover which not only went in line with the contents of the book but also correctly gave an imagery of the lead character Ifeoma. The opening chapter alone took me to a certain height and I must say that book is terrific. Good use of English, punctuation marks and vocabulary. The author did well also in carving out African Culture, leaving no stone unturned. The characters are well carved out and overall, the book is a superb. By Finest_Wine

This one, Estranged breaks stereotypes! It's amazing really. I love how it talked about Aids and the stigmatization the victims take to. I like that this book is different, it stands out in it's own way. It tells a story of how a teenage girl at such young age is given tests by life itself. It is a unique one. This book took me in by it's blurb, although I wasn't too impressed by it's cover design. I'll give it a 6/10 on that. The story description however left me itching to know it's content. I like the diversity in the cliche romantic stories. This story not only tells a tale of a woman in pain but also specifies on family relationship and inter tribal marriage. It brings out the African family so well.
Good use of English, Good vocabulary, good  characterization.
