"There's really no easy way to say this" He says
My head gets filled with horrible...
I sit with my feet in Jacks pool, "I need to talk to you" I tell him
"Sure" He nods his head
"I hit Sky" I choke out
Wow, that now feels so much more real. I hit her, oh my god.
"You what?!" He screams
I look down at water, i feel my reflection in the clear water. I feel so disgusted in myself i close my eyes, i feel so sick.
"I s-slapped her across the face" I stutter
"Zach-"
I shake my head, "That's not even all" I cut him off, "I ragged her hair and pushed her to the floor and she hit her head" I confess
"Why would you do that?" He asks
"I don't know, i really d-don't" My voice cracks
"I can't even look at you" He scoffs
I shake my head, "I can't even look at myself don't worry" I reply
My heart feels like it's sinking, when they say everyday it gets easier it's a lie. It never gets easier, at least that's how it feels
"You've cheated and been the most disrespectful husband ever before but one thing i've never had you down as was an abuser" He spits
"I didn't come here for a lecture" I mumble
"I don't care, you put your hands on a lady. Open your fucking eyes Zach! You laid your hands on your wife!" He screams
"I fucking know" I scream, "You think i don't know that? I have to sleep every night knowing that" I explain
"Have you tried speaking to her?" He asks calming down
I shake my head, "I'm done, i'm completely done now. I don't love her, you don't hurt someone you love and that's all i seem to be doing" I explain, "That's it, me and Sky are done for good this time" I open my eyes
Jack shakes his head, "You can get through this" He tells me
"No" I shake my head, "It's the end of Zach and Skylar this time" I explain
