Chapter 8: One big Happy family reunion

(Y/N's POV) I'd be wake up from a stressful day before of just pure patrolling. I'd get up and clothed. I'd look at the time as it was 05:00. I'd see David and Maine already awake, well...David was sitting on Maine while he did Push ups. "190...192..good morning Y/n...194....195.." David would say reading his scroll going up and down. I'd look at Evan who was sleeping in. I'd lightly pull his fox ear. He'd shoot up. "I'M AWAKE!" He'd say surprised. "No time to sleep in it's already 05:05." I'd say. He'd sigh. "You guys...we could just wake up at a normal human time right?" He'd ask. "Nah..don't get lazy.." David would say as Maine would get up stretching from the 200 push ups he just did. "Alright guys follow me." David would say. We'd all be in grey sweats and with a ranger's Sweatshirt. We'd get ready. "Alright..let's go!" David would say. We'd all nod. We'd run around beacon. As people slowly woke up they saw us. The standard jog for a Ranger, was if you weren't in armor is that you still needed to carry your rifle for the reason of Weight. I'd look at Maine who was holding his customized LS-20 LMG. Evan would have his RX-092 Bolt action, and David would have his M-2039 Assault rifle. I'd be holding my MPS-20 SMG. David would start up a typical ranger chant, on how were the best of the best and that the enemy should turn head and tail when they see us. "Here we go!" He'd chant. "Here we go!" We'd reply. "Eye's on The Prize" He'd chant out. "Eye's on the Prize" We'd reply. "Let'em know who we are? WHO are we?" He'd chant. "RANGERS!" We'd yell in a reply. "WHO ARE WE?!" He'd chant out. "RANGERS!" We'd chant back. "Here we go!" he'd chant. we'd reply as we did before. (Blake's POV) I'd start to wake up it was 7:30, but I'd awake to some sort of chant. I'd see the rest of the gang watching something from the window. "What are you guys doing?" I'd ask. "Watching Team SADE...they always wake up at 5 in the morning and do about a hour jog..from 6:30 to nowish" Ruby would say. "How do you know this?" I'd ask her. "Oh I may have asked David what daily routine of a Ranger was." she'd reply. "Well what are they doing. "The process of roll call." Yang would say. We'd see Y/N, Evan, and Richard lined up. David would walk up to Y/N first. "Weapon?" He'd ask. "MPS-20 SIR!" he'd reply. "Is it in working condition? Kept it Clean?" He'd ask. "Yes Sir!" He'd reply. I couldn't hear the last one but it sure did make Y/N Blush. "Alright you..weapon?" He'd ask evan. "RX-092 Bolt Action SIR!" He'd reply. "is it in best of condition for your art?" he'd ask. "YES SIR!" he'd reply. He'd walk up to Richard. "Alright Maine weapon?" He'd ask. Maine would Growl. "Alright...is it working?" he'd ask. Maine would just keep growling. "Good to know keep up the good work Maine" He'd say. "A...did you guy's get the last part?" Weiss would ask. "No clue.." Yang would say. I'd remember Y/N saying that he wasn't able to speak due to a training accident. "A..I think's cause his Vocal Cords were damaged in a training accident I think" I'd say. They'd look at me. "How would you know that?" Ruby would ask. "Just as you said I asked" I'd say smiling. (time skip! and Y/N's pov) I'd be sitting next to Evan as his spotter on the range. "Alright...129 meters away...calibrate your rifle for a 2 mile per hour wind..and check for humidity and heat" I'd reply. Evan would breath and adjust his rifle's scope. He'd pull the trigger and pull the bolt back. "Missed by a few centimeters" I'd reply. "What? I never miss!" Evan would say annoyed. He'd readjust his rifle and fire again. "Alight that time it was a direct hit" I'd say. Evan would sigh in relief as he'd pause and pull his pistol aiming it at the two people behind him. I'd look around, it was those two Ruby and Yang. I'd sigh. "What do you two need.." I'd mutter. "Ozpin wants to see us." Is all Yang would say. I'd get up, and wipe the dust off of my jeans. "see yah later Evan." I'd say. He'd just chuckle. "See yah brother" He'd say. We'd be in the elevator. "Why does he call you Brother all the time?" Yang would ask. "Because unlike you we actually treat each over as family with respect." I'd say. Yang would get pissed and sad at the comment. The doors would open and my eyes would narrow as I saw the 2 people I hated. Summer Rose and Taiyang Xiao long. I'd draw my P-039 handgun. I'd hold it's aim, my hand shaking. Ozpin would place his hand on my handgun. I'd look at him. "Relax...there with me.." is all Ozpin would say. I'd lower it but I wouldn't turn on the safety. "Son I'm so Sorry for what what we did to you..we..we were blinded." Tai would start. "Now..let me stop you there." Is all I'd mutter. Summer and Tai would look up. "Sorry? Sorry doesn't help for what you did...beat me almost every hour...and hell even not feed me for a week...hell even shoot me in the god damn shoulder.!" I'd say pissed. Ozpin would pause. "Summer did you?" Ozpin would ask, as Summer would put her head down in shame. I'd sigh. "I made a living for myself...and it happened when you broke that little Innocent kid..then what happens he becomes a trained killer..." I'd say chuckling. I'd look at my pistol. "I hope your happy with yourself.." I'd say pulling the hammer back at of my P-039 at Tai's shoulder, but before I could pull the trigger Ozpin would use his cane to hit it straight out of my hand. I'd pause and stare at him as he'd adjust his glasses. "That's all Ranger you are dismissed." he'd say. As I'd turn. "maybe if I wasn't a idiot in cargo shorts that wasted his life beating his only son to the point of him becoming a killer.." I'd mutter. I'd feel someone turn me and slap me straight across the face. It was tai. I'd pause. "That's Enough all I did to come here was Apologize." He'd scold. I'd then kick him in the shine with all my force that my Augmentations could give. A crack could be heard. Tai would be on his Knees. I'd sigh and walk out. (Yang's POV) I heard what Y/N said which was uncalled for and as well as what Tai did which was also uncalled for. We'd all pause at the sound of the crack. Tai would fall to his knees. Ozpin would walk up to Tai. "Was it really necessary to slap him?" he'd ask. "He needed discipline.." Tai would say grabbing his leg. "He went through the Ranger's Basic training..that already has so much discipline in it..so much so that you Tai I doubt could last a day in.." He'd say. "God..I think he broke my leg.." Tai would say. I'd see summer comforting him. "Now you two" Ozpin would say. "Run along." He'd say. Ruby would walk up to him. "Do you think Y/N will ever be able to forgive us?" She'd ask. "I think you to have a better chance then your parents" He'd say. (Y/N's POV) I'd walk down the halls of the dorm. I'd enter are room. I'd grab my MPS-20. "What's got you in a mood?" David would ask reading a book. "Nothing.." I'd say pissed. he'd look up. "alright go a head and do your therapy" he'd say looking at my MPS-20. I'd nod and walk away. I'd exit the dorm and enter the shooting range. I'd pull the bolt back on my SMG. I'd begin to fire. I'd feel a presence behind me. I'd continue to shoot as someone would hug me. I'd pause. I'd look at the person and it was ruby. "Please...I'm so..so sorry for what I did to you..I still sometimes can't sleep at night because of it." She'd say. I'd have a flashback. (FlashBack) I'd be sitting looking at the deep cut on my arm. Ruby would walk in with a couple of bandages. she'd wrap it up. "All better" she'd say. I'd pat her head as she'd turn and walk out (end of flashback) I'd pause. I'd place my hand on her head. She'd look up. "I forgive you." Is all I'd say. she'd smile. -(hour later)- I'd enter my dorm room. David would look at me. "A..there someone attached to your arm" Is all he'd say. I'd look at ruby. "Why are you clinging to my arm?" I'd ask her. "I want to see your guys weapons.!" she'd say. I'd just sigh. I'd pull her off and attach her onto Maine's arm. "Just ask them" I'd say laying on my bed. After that I waited for my team to fall asleep. I'd open the window. I'd jump down. I'd look around and I'd walk and sit on a bench. (Blake's POV) I'd hear something come a room down. I'd hear someone open a window. I'd open the window myself jump from the window onto the ground. I'd jump and follow him. I'd see him sit down. then a glowing figure would appear above his shoulder. "Hello? Ranger this is the first time you called me up in a while" She'd say. "Yeah..yeah I came here to log a journal..I know it's been a while" he'd say. "Exactly 1 year, 3 months,1 week, 2 days, and 2 minutes" She'd say. "Yeah yeah..alright no need to get all exact on me." he'd reply. "alright start it now" He'd say. "Recording." She'd say. "Well today I made amends with my little sister Ruby..and I hope I can forgive Yang...but..I know if Evan listens to this his 'Theories' will be right that I may have fallen in love with a cute little Faunus..named Blake." I'd hear him say. I'd go bright red. "A..R-0210 there is someone near us" His AI would say. "Alright stop recording." I'd say. I'd see a little orange figure appear in front of me. "Hello I am Bella! R-0210's personal AI! may I ask who you are?" she'd ask so politely. "Oh..I'm Blake" I'd reply. "Alright confirmed! My user is in lo- My master is calling me back please give me a second" She'd say vanishing. I'd wait until I'd feel someone poking my shoulder I'd jump up to Y/N smiling. "So I guess you heard?" He'd ask. I'd be glowing a dark red. He'd just pick me up. "Come on I'll take you back to your dorm.." he'd say.I'd shake my head. "No..c-can I sleep with you tonight?" I'd ask shuttering. I'd see his smile..so warm. "In your Dorm or mine?" He'd ask. "How about mine?" I'd ask him. "Good...I'm already teased enough from my team." He'd say chuckling. he'd look. "Which window is your room?" He'd ask. "The one on the right" I'd reply. "Hold on" Is all he'd say smiling Jumping a couple times and landing in are room silently. He'd place me in my bed. He'd lay next to me. I'd cuddle up to him.
