ii. choosing an alias

One of the hardest things to think of is superhero names. Depending on the gift or skill your OC has, you have to think of a suitable name while also not copying another characters name.

1) Synonyms;
Searching your power into Google and looking up synonyms is one way to find a hero name.

For example if your hero can manipulate light, search synonyms for the word light. Words like blaze, illuminate & starlight which you could use as a name.

2) Different Languages;
I find putting your power or word that links to your character into a translators is another way of creating names.

Finding a word and translating it, so time becomes the hero name chronos. Sunlight becomes Solis.

3) Gods & Goddess;
Another option is to make your OC afters Gods & Goddess. For example Nemesis was the goddess of retribution. Finding a trait you could name your OC after a God that shares that.

Examples:

Nemesis - Retribution

Athena - Wisdom

Artemis - Hunt

Ares - War

Zeus - Sky

Poseidon - Sea

Apollo - Archery

etc. . .

4) Random Words
I know this might be a stupid one, but I find random words can be used as superhero names. In my plot shop I have named OC after random words like nemesis, chaos & neon.
