Speak up, don't be shy

" hi, my name is Rose Mary I am 12 years old and I'm a victim of sexual assault and physical assault. It started when I was 11 years old and I didn't speak up for one year because I was scared. The words he said to me were "if you tell your mum I will kill you" if the person said this to you, you need to speak up because it'll get worst. Speaking up makes you to bigger person because you have taken your fear and made it words, most people try to speak up by saying a monster hurts me the word monster means the male or female hurting them. Everyone needs to make sure kids in general are fine because it could be happening behind closed doors, you could talk to the nicest person but they could be that monster you children talk about. I'm doing this to make you aware of this situation because it happened to my mum and I are we went through it for a year and your kids, nieces, nephews, grandchildren etc could have this happened to them for 5 years or more, yes I know you wouldn't want it to happen but it does and the we can prevent
it from happening if you speak up.
You can tell your Mum or Dad, grandma or grandpa, brother or sister, teacher or principal, counsellor or well- being. You can tell anyone because they will help you. I hope this helps people speak out Or help someone.
