Chapter 17

Eunji straightly come back home and change into casual clothes. Strangely, she didn't see her sister come downstairs to help with preparing dinner.

"Where is Hyesung eonni?" Eunji asked her mother as she scoop the rice into the small bowl

"She has been locking herself in bedroom since afternoon" Mrs. Jung said in worried tone. "Is there anything wrong?" She asked

"I don't know" Eunji said in normal tone so her mom won't notice her expression.

"Go upstairs and call her for dinner. She haven't eaten yet" Mrs. Jung said. Eunji nodded and go upstairs. She stopped in front of her sister's bedroom and knock the door

"Eonni! Come down and eat" Eunji knock the door and there's no response as the door is locked. "Eonni!" She called and keep knocking.

"I'm not eating. Just leave me alone" Hyesung replies from inside.

Eunji sighs and decide to leave her sister alone as she come back downstairs. "Eomma! Hyesung eonni is not going to eat" she saids

"Let her be" Mrs. Jung saids. "Go call your dad and your brother. Dinner is ready" she saids

*GLASS BREAKING*

"Omo!" Everyone shocked with the sound of broken glass from upstairs.

"Hyesung eonni!" Eunji shocked and run to upstairs with her parents. "Eonni! Open the door!" She called

"Hyesung ah! What are you doing?" Mrs. Jung shouted from outside. "Yeobo! Go find the key" she turns to her husband as he ran to his bedroom.

"Here! The keys!" Mr. Jung runs back with bunch of keys. He inserted the key and fastly unlock the door. Unluckily, they found Hyesung laying down on the floor with blood from her wrist and broken pieces of glass.

"HYESUNG!"

"EONNI!"

AT THE HOSPITAL
"Appa! Eomma!" Haein fastly runs to his parents and sister who were waiting outside the emergency room. "Is she okay?" He worriedly asked

"The doctors hasn't come out yet" Mr. Jung said

"I hope she's okay, yeobo!" Mrs. Jung held her husband's hand with worrying face. "Oh! The doctors are coming" she saids as the doctors came out from the room.

"What's your relationship with the patient?" The doctor asked

"We're her family" Mr. Jung saids. "How's my daughter right now?" He asked

"She's fine right now. Fortunately, you bring her to hospital on time or else we can't help due to massive blood loss." The doctors saids

"Can we go visit her?" Eunji asked

"You can. But don't be too loud" the doctors saids

"Kamsahamnida!" The family bowed to the doctors as they left. Mr and Mrs. Jung, Haein and Eunji entered to the emergency room.

"Uri Hyesungie!" Mrs. Jung sighs after seeing their daughter in this condition. "Why suddenly you do like this?" She saids

"Eomma!" Haein and Eunji sighs as Haein caress his mother's back. "She'll be fine" Eunji saids

"Do you want to go home with me? I still have work to do tomorrow" Mr. Jung asked the youngest

"You can go home, Eunji. You still have school tomorrow. Haein too! You still have work to do" Mrs. Jung saids

"What about you, eomma?" Eunji asked

"I'll stay here. Gwenchana!" Mrs. Jung saids

Eunji leave the house and walk to school in the early morning with headphones plugged into her ears so she can escape a reality for a while. She drank a hot chocolate and keep walking as her eyes spot on a guy and a girl who walk passed school gate.

No one beside Junmyeon and unknown name student (but Eunji knows that female student also study in the same class with Junmyeon)

"Hey guys!" Eunji smile and sat down as she entered into the classroom

"Your expression seems bad" Bomi saids

"I don't know" Eunji smiles since she don't want to be weak in front of her friends. "Looks like I didn't get much sleep that's why I'm not in good condition" she saids

"I saw Junmyeon sunbaenim walk with another girl. She looks like new here tho" Bomi saids

"They looks good together" Eunji saids

"You didn't shock at all, Jung Eunji" Bomi saids

"I saw them talking to each other at library yesterday" Eunji answered. "Junmyeon oppa and I are just friend, nothing more" she saids

"Make sure your heart limit your zone for Junmyeon oppa" Bomi laughs

"Arraseo! You reminds me every time" Eunji laughs

After school, Eunji straightly goes to hospital as Hyesung has moved to patient's room since morning. She open the door as Haein and her mother already here

"You're here" Mrs. Jung exclaims

"Ne eomma" Eunji smiles. "You're supposed to be at workplace, oppa" she teased her brother

"There's nothing to do so I asked my boss to leave early, kiddo" Haein saids

"How's eonni?" Eunji asked

"She woke up since afternoon but turn back to sleep later" Mrs. Jung answered. "But.... she keeps mumbling someone's name, Jinyoung" she saids

"Jinjja?" Eunji exclaims

"You know him?" Haein frowned at his youngest sister

"Why not! That jerk who turned me to crybaby at the cinema last time" Eunji reply. "And now, he make my sister become like this" she gritted her teeth

"What do you mean?" Haein and Mrs. Jung frowned

"That Jinyoung is the reason why Hyesung eonni become like this" Eunji sighs. "Don't be angry about her and I'm sorry for not telling you earlier because eonni asked me to, eomma" She looked down and turn to her sister who sleep peacefully on the bed. "I'm going home, eomma" she saids, grabbing her backpack and leave the room.

Eunji sat down on the swing and staring the sky. Junmyeon recently finish group study with his friends and suddenly he saw Eunji sitting alone. It's been 3 days since he've met her

"Eunji ah!" Junmyeon happily called out her name and walk to her. "Why are you here?" He asked

"Just..... chilling" Eunji shrugged. "What about you? Where have you been?" She asked

"Just finish group study" Junmyeon saids. "How are you?" He asked

"Good. Thanks" Eunji smiles. "Anyway, I got your KitKat. But, I don't have any chance to say thank you" she saids

"I'm glad to see you like them" he smiles.
