A doorbell rang throughout her place, making her panic.
She approached the door slowly and sighed heavily.
She opened the door and saw the person she was expecting.
"Mom!" May embraced her and got in her apartment.
"Wow. Your house is clean, but where's your husband?" She happily said.
Oh no. This is the time that May felt really sweaty.
May felt bad lying.
"Mom... about that... I---"
Suddenly, the door opened, making both of them gasped.
"Hello." Suwoong came and bowed to her mom.
"Oh, there's your husband." They shared a hug and released.
"Where have you been?" May's mom asked.
"I just ran some errands." He said as they sit down on the couch. May was still silent.
"Mom, I'll just cook something. You can talk here. It's okay?" Mom nodded happily.
"Of course, I'll be okay. I have to catch up, you know. I mean I let you marry in a young age. I'm comfortable with him thinking that he'll take care of you even if you're both young." Her mom stated.
She seems really happy that May is married. Especially to the guy she voted on.
Sigh.
