Mendhi:
menhdi (event) = defined at the beginning of the chapter mendhi (object) = henna, made from henna leaves and applied to hair, skin, etc as a dye. dupatta = scarf that comes with Indian clotheschanya (choli) = a two part Indian dress that is separated so the waist is expose – see polyvore account for visuals.
