To My Readers:
I cannot express to you how much I appreciate you all. I can't believe I have finished my second book. I honestly don't know that I would've without you all and your support on Trust.
Not the Only One was born in my imagination not long after the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. I don't think I've shared this with anyone, but this book started out as something completely different. Luke was originally going to end up... well, with a violent end. And Miles wasn't going to have a turn around. But I fell in love with the two of them, and instead of the more dramatic, tragic end, I wanted to show something else: the power of human connection.
We can change each others' lives, guys. Just by taking a chance and making a connection. That's the only way to find love, to find ourselves.
I'm really glad I took this road, because I have fallen in love with all of these characters, and now I get to write a sequel.
I also want to thank you guys for being here, reading my work, voting, commenting, and supporting me. It means more to me than you know. There are a few of you I want to give a shout out to (only folks who have either finished or are close to the end - to avoid spoilers):
