Back at the Volturi we are surprised at the decorations in the seating room... I soon realize they are wedding supplies coloured in reds and blacks to match the vampirenss of the bride and groom. Jane of course is the one to greet us
"Surprise happy couple!" I love Jane but she has the ability to time things horribly wrong
"Jane," I say in a tone which I hope she hears the warning in "what is this?" She doesn't get the warning
"It's your and Caius's wedding! Aro go get your suit on you're performing the ceremony, bride and groom go get ready!" Alec drags Caius out by the arm and Jane hauls me back to her room grasping my hand.

"Jane," I begin to say as she takes out my dress "this gesture is truly lovely but whose watching the half breed?"
"Oh don't worry about her she's been... Uh .... Tied up in other issues"
"What do you mean?," I inquire but after the words escape my lips I realise 'tied up' mean literally tied up, probably gaged so she can't speak also "I applaud you sister" we laugh.

Almost against my will I'm forced into my dress and make up without her questioning why I'm objecting and stalling, I would normally be excited but now is just not the time Caius is obviously unsettled about something and I just saw Jacob and presuming that that is what my groom is concerned about. So it does sorta dull the happiness and excitement.

Before I can tell her to call off the ceremony I'm pushed back into the seating room, music is ringing through the grandly decorated space and Aro and Caius are at the top of the isle Aro's gleaming smile and Caius's serious and guarded expression not making me want to do this anymore than I already do. His eyes light up when he sees me but that spark is gone just after I notice it, it feels like a slap in the face when I see him avert his gaze somewhere else even though his gaze is like it's giving out venom.

Aro begins the ceremony
"We are gathered her today to-" and so on until "if anyone objects to the binding of this couple speak up now or forever hold your peace" there's a moments silence before Caius's heavenly voice says
"I do object until she tells me how she knows that mutt back at the Cullen's"
"So what I'm 'she' now?" I ask this rhetorical question he replies
"No darling just tell me right now and we can continue our wedding and be man and wife before sunrise"
"If I tell you," I say "your raging jealousy will prevent us from continuing our marriage"

"Why won't you just tell me Cecelia!, I can't marry you if you can't even tell me of your past"
"Then tell be about your past!" I know his past is off limits so saying this to him is practically walking on a land mine he tells me through clenched teeth
"Just.tell.me.right.now.Cecelia." I throw my hands up
"Fine! You really want to know! Jacob was the last person I dated while I didn't know about this world, I found out he was a werewolf and researched more until I knew all about this world, then that vamp attacked me. I didn't officially break up with him so he was as shocked to see me as I was of him. So there master I obeyed, and I don't want to marry you if all I'm going to end up doing is being forced by you to say things that will welcome your raging jealousy back and get you pissed at me!" Aro and the others watch with there mouths agape Jane's eyes leak apologies

I let the diamond that I have been wearing around for months drop to my now colleagues feet the looks down a nod picks it up then flashes me his poisonous eyes and storms out of the door slamming the door behind him.
