The neon lights on the lonely highway lit up with spectacle as I drove through the night in my car. My girl laying in the passenger seat, looking out into the mountain skyline, said to me "You know you can't keep on doing this". "I have to keep driving, You know that Colleen" I replied as I kept my eyes on the road. Her hologram gave off a blue hue inside the cab as she put her legs up on the dash. "You know you have work tomorrow" She chuckled.

"Heh, I wish we could keep doing this, Just driving down the highway on a Sunday night."

"Like those times back in 2080."

"Heh, yeah" I laughed. I smiled at her as we got closer to the city. It was empty, Like every other city at 1 AM. Our apartment building was right in front of us as we started to go into the parking lot right beside it. I drove to a stop in the usual parking spot but kept the car running, I looked to the side of me at my girl giving me a smile. "see ya next weekend hon." She said

"see ya next weekend too" I replied as I turned off the car. Her hologram faded out again and zapped back into the car radio. I opened the cassette player and pulled the cassette out and placed it in my jacket pocket.
