*Kaboom!* ⚡⚡⚡
An ominous boom startled Taehyung out of his abysmal nightmare. His cheeks were wet and his body was bathed in a cold sweat.
"NOO!" Taehyung shouted as his body trembled.
The sheets were twisted around his limbs, probably because he was thrashing in his sleep. His heart pounded against his chest. 'Chest?ㅡ chest... Jungkook... Monster... Gun... Bullets... Pain... My chest...My leg....My shoulder...Dead...ㅡ'
"Oh my god!" Taehyung shouted panicky as he shakily checked his body for injury. He sighed in relief when he realized it was just a dream, or should I say, a nightmare and he's completely fine and alive but it doesn't make him feel any better.
The room was entirely darkㅡ it's evening already. 'I've fallen asleep again?' No light anywhere and the remnants of his nightmare still clung to his mind, haunting him.
Another flash of lightning illuminated the room in blinding light. Taehyung let out a frightened cry and buried his face further into the pillow & blanket, as if it's gonna shield him from fear & anxiety.
Taehyung sobbed under the blanketㅡrubbing his own arms to somewhat ease the lurking panic attack.
A knock on the door brought him back to reality and Taehyung started to feel scared again. He knew it wasn't Jungkook. He would never ever knock in his own room. Knowing that it's not Jungkook, didn't make it any better for the fragile boy, he got even more scared for the unknown intruder.
A tall figure suddenly appeared when the door openedㅡ the light from the outside shone brightly to Taehyung's eyes, making him to whimper in discomfort as he covered his eyes with his hands.
"Hello? Taehyung, right?" The man said in a soft tone but nonetheless it still made Taehyung flinched with the unfamiliarity of his voice.
"Hey, I'm not going to hurt you, My name is Jin. I'm here to get you." Jin said softly as he made his way to Taehyung's bed.
"G-Get away f-from me!" Taehyung yelled with a hoarse voice, due to nonstop crying and screaming.
"Hey, it's okay, little one." Jin's soothing voice & words somewhat calm Taehyung's nerves. It reminded him of Jimin's soft voice.
