After hours of thinking & thinkingㅡ Taehyung decided to stop and rest. Honestly, his poor brain couldn't process every single thing that's happening to him any more.
But one thing's for sureㅡ he just found out something that he couldn't stop putting his mind on. It's like a dangerous black holeㅡ sucking him, and he couldn't stop himself on diving further, his wild curiosity was not helping either, as it's at its peak and he got completely taken by it.
'I'll know about it soon enough.' Taehyung thought, sighing, as he rolled to the far side of the huge bed and let his back to face the empty side of the bed.
Soft pitter patter of the rain accompanied by the mild gusting of the night breeze, rustling of trees & leaves and the sound of calming sea waves resonated through out their vast roomㅡ the faint ticking of clock mixed with his own breathing could be heard as well and it honestly brought serenity & tranquility to his poor, confused and worn out mind & heart.
Taehyung closed his eyes slowly as he pulled the fluffy blanket over his small frame. He buried his head further to the warm blanket & pillow, sighing in content & comfort as he pulled his knees closer to his body.
A soft click was then heard followed by an oh-so gentle creak when the door opened and closed, as if the person's making sure to be as quiet as possible.
Taehyung already knew who it wasㅡ of course it's Jungkook, who else? He just continued to shut his eyes, pretending he was already fast asleep.
Soft footsteps rang through out the roomㅡ and it was far different from how Jungkook usually entered the room. Tonight, it seemed like he's tiptoeing like a child who was afraid to get caught sneaking out late and it honestly made Taehyung to giggle to himself.
The bed dipped from Jungkook's weight when he climbed up & laid down as well.
Jungkook stared at Taehyung's back with variety of emotions; sadness, guilt, happiness, anger, loveㅡfor a good three minutes before snapping out of his trance.
