I heard Taehyung mumbled as he sobbed himself quietly to sleep, his voice filled with emotions I couldn't even pinpointㅡ All I knew was, it honestly made my heart to clench in pain & guilt. Yes, I know I said, that I always loved seeing people hurtㅡ heck I even enjoyed it, but why am I not happy about it, why am I not enjoying every bit of it, and why am I feeling so so bad now?
I already knew the answer, but part of me didn't like itㅡ it's making me soft and it shouldn't happen, it just couldn't.
Wanna ask me, 'how long I've been awake?' Well to answer that stupid question, I've been awake the whole timeㅡ the moment he stirred, it already alerted my senses, I'm not a goddamn mafia leader for nothing. Call it spider instinctsㅡ but since he called me bunny, maybe killer bunny instincts then.
Going back, how I wished I was indeed asleep, that way I wouldn't hear him in pain and sadness. But at the same time, I was kinda glad I did woke up, that way I was able to know how he truly feels.
Taehyung was currently facing me, he fell asleep sobbing, he definitely got tired. I sighed for the nth time.
His face was so close to my chest and I smiled at the sight. I gently caressed his cheeks to brush away the remaining tears that stained his ethereal face, making him stir & whine slightly.
I pulled him closer to my chest and placed a lingering kiss on his forehead. He mumbled incoherent words as he nuzzled his face further to my embrace as if seeking warmth & protection.
"I'm really sorry, Taehyung. But you wouldn't understand me. You'll never understand me."
Morning came and the sunlight lit up our roomㅡ I smiled softly when I saw Taehyung still wrapped around my arms. We're still on the same position we slept on last night.
Taehyung's arms were loosely draped around my torso, his head on my chest; slightly tilted upwards, allowing me to see his beautiful face, and his legs in between my thighs. I sighed in contentㅡ waking up every morning never been this amazing.
