The next day Zach woke up before Jack. He looked up and couldn't help but smile at how adorable Jack looked. His curls were all kinds of messy, his mouth was hanging open just a little and there were small snores coming from him. Zach smiled and kissed his cheek before getting up and walking downstairs.
Jack felt Zach get up so he rolled over to make himself more comfortable.
Zach noticed that his parents weren't home yet so he grabbed an apple and sat at the counter, eating it and scrolling through his phone, he noticed that it was still raining outside so he didn't expect his siblings back for another couple of hours.
Jack tried and tried to go back to sleep, he eventually gave up. He yawned, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. He flung the covers off of himself and stood up lazily, stretching before walking downstairs. When he got downstairs he seen Zach sitting at the counter. Jack went over and plopped on a stool beside Zach.
Zach smiled over at his friend "your up early" he said with a small chuckle
"Yeah. I couldn't fall back asleep" Jack said as a small evil smirk spread across his face. Zach, of course, was still looking down at his phone so Jack reached over and snatched it out of his hands
"Hey!" Zach whined "Give that back! I was looking at something" He said reaching up for his phone.
Jack turned around and bent down so he was hovering over Zach's phone just enough so Zach couldn't take it back "ohhh I see you Zach" the older boy joked scrolling through his own instagram page that his friend had pulled up.
"Shut up and give me my phone" Zach whined dragging out the e and jumping on his friends back
"I'll give it back when you tell me why you were looking at my page" Jack smirked and locked his friends phone, but kept a tight grip on it.
"Come on Jack, just give it baackk" Zach said reaching down and pulling on his friends fingers, trying to pry them off of his phone
"No, I wanna know whyyyy" Jack laughed bending down farther so it was harder for his friend to grab.
"Because ilikeyou" Zach said quickly, feeling his face heat up "now give it back please" he said reaching under his friends arm to try and grab his phone
"What?" Jack blushed and bent down farther "I didn't hear you" he said, knowing he knew what Zach had just told him, he just wanted to make sure he heard it correctly
Zach shook his head "I know you heard me, now give my my phone" he demanded holding out his hand
"Or what?" Jack laughed still not giving Zach his phone
"Or I'm never gonna get off your back" Zach shrugged "it's pretty comfortable up here anyways" he said wrapping his arms around Jack's shoulders
"I'm cool with that" The oldest of the two shrugged "your pretty light anyways" he said standing up
"Your impossible" Zach said shaking his head
"To get your phone back, just tell me what you said" Jack replied turning to face his friend
"I said I like your Instagram page. You take good pictures" Zach said simply "now hand it over mister"
Jack laughed and handed Zach his phone, but right as Zach reached for it Jack jerked it away "waaaait are you sure that's what you said?" Jack teased
Zach nodded "I'm more than sure"
"Alright" Jack handed him his phone, but for real this time
Zach smiled and shoved his phone in his pocket. "Let's go to the park" he said getting up and throwing the rest of his apple away.
"You did not just waste that apple did you?" Jack asked looking at his friend in playful disbelief
Zach laughed and shook his head "no, you distracted me and I forgot about it and it turned brown."
"Mhm..suuuuure" Jack said giving Zach a sassy look then laughing
"Let's go to the park now!" Zach smiled and grabbed Jack's hand
Jack blushed lightly, hoping Zach didn't notice "okay, okay" he said following his friend out the door ———————————————————————— A/N
