A gasp emitted from Hilaria, shooting up in a sitting position, quickly looking around their small camp, letting out a small breath, tucking a lock of her ombre hair behind her ear, looking at everyone to make sure to they were all sleeping. Her blood running cold at the sight of an empty bed and abandoned book,

"Caspian" Hilaria whispered, shaking his shoulder "Caspian, wake up"

"What?" He asked urgently, sitting up as well "what's wrong, my love?" looking at her

"Lucy's gone" Hilaria said, standing "she's gone!"

Caspian quickly got up, which had also caused Rogan to wake completely, flying up and landing on Hilaria's shoulder,

"Ed. Ed, wake up" Caspian said, shaking him on his shoulder, causing Edmund to awaken "wake up, look" pointing to where Lucy should have been

"Where's Lucy?" Edmund asked "Lucy?"

"Lucy!" Hilaria called out

"Everybody up!" Caspian ordered "get up. Get up, I said!" the rest of the crew waking

Kneeling down, Hilaria placed the tips of her fingers on the floor,

"What do you feel?" Edmund asked her

"Shh!" Caspian hushed

". . . She didn't get up and walk away, she knew better" Hilaria informed "she was taken" pointing to the direction

"This way!" Drinian ordered as they searched for Lucy "move, you blackguards!"

"Who could've taken her?" Caspian asked Hilaria

"I don't know" she replied honestly "this isn't something I'd instantly recognize from my studies"

"Whomever had taken her, are they a threat?" He asked lowly, earning a small shrug

"Caspian," Hilaria said, breaking out into a run a the sight if a familiar object, picking it up "Lucy's dagger"

'Stop right there or perish'

This caused Rogan to let out a low, threatening growl, lowering his head slightly at the threat toward them, Caspian moving in front of Hilaria, sword raised,

"What sort of creatures are you?" Caspian demanded

'Big ones . . with the head of a tiger and the body of a . . different tiger'

'You don't want to mess with us'

"Or what?" Edmund asked

'Or I'll claw you to death.'

Suddenly, what was once unseen, was now seen, the creatures turning visible, causing Hilaria to open her mouth slightly to speak, only to close it, letting out a small hum. One was being held by two, making them look larger, and more threatening when they couldn't be seen, Hilaria looking at the now non threatening creatures, shaking her head slightly as she pinched the bridge of her nose,

"And I'll ram my tusks right through you" he said

"And I'll gnash you with my teeth" another said

"And I'll bite you with my fangs" a third said, adding a growl to make him look more threatening,

"You mean squash us with your fat bellies?" Edmund asked, smiling

"Yes!" One of them replied

"Fat bellies?" Another asked

"Tickle us with your toes?" Caspian asked with an amused smile

This caused a giggle to emit from Hilaria, shaking her head slightly as she let her hand drop, looking at the creatures,
