I pull on the brakes of my motorcycle before cutting off the engine and taking my helmet off. I wasn't really going to come here with Scott and Malia to see Deucalion, but I ended up coming anyways because later on I wasn't going to want to feel guilty that somebody died all because I didn't know how to fight without my eyes.
I take off my gloves and leave them on the cemented ground with my helmet after getting off my bike. I start walking through the large metal shipping... cages? I don't know what they're called, already hearing Deucalion, which makes me consider turning around and walking back through the way I came from.
But I admit, I do need his help. But I'm not telling him that. So I keep on walking towards where I hear his, Malia's and Scott's voice, listening about what Deucalion's gonna be teaching about fighting blind, to track better sounds, identify body heat, like snakes do, and... balance? "And proprioception." I hear Deucalion say when I turn around a corner.
"Pressure." I say, staying in my place and making them look at me. "You came." Scott says with a light tone of surprise. "Who made you come?" Malia asks with a somewhat annoyed look, seeming unimpressed that I'm here and clearly knowing that I didn't fully come here because I wanted to.
"I didn't come here to talk about anything, I came here to learn how to fight without my eyes." I say, finally looking at Deucalion and seeing him having his head hung low and looking sad. And I don't feel anything. "I didn't think you'd appear, so I only brought two blindfolds." Deucalion says.
