Janes POV
Ma was asleep on the other couch and Maura was leaned against my shoulder. "Your so beautiful." I whispered to Maura. "You are gorgeous Jane." I smiled. "You really think so?"
"Of course I do Jane. Your one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen."
I smiled and kissed Maura. Maura got up and went to the little cabinet she pulled out a pillow. "You don't have to use the pillow Maur." I stretched out and offered Maura to lay there with me. She smiled and walked back over. Maur laid down in my lap and put her arms around me. She laid her head down on my chest and I put my arms around her waist. Then both of us fell asleep. An few hours later I was woke by Maura shifting. She started to sit up but I pulled her back. She snuggled back to my chest and I smiled. "We are beginning our decent to London England." The captain came on the intercom. "London? I thought we were going to Bristol."
"Bristol doesn't have an airport."
"Ahh." We sat up and I kissed Maura's cheek. "Ma wake up!" I yelled. Ma jumped up. "We land in 15." Maura and I got up and got our carry-ons and so did ma. The plane landed and we got our bags then went inside the airport. I saw a sign that said Maura Isles on it. "Hello Maura it's so good to see you." The little old man holding the sign said. "Alexander, oh it's so good to see you."
"You look as beautiful now as you did when you left for collage."
"Oh Alexander you were always a charmer. Alexander this is Jane Rizzoli and her mother Angela."
"It's a pleasure." his Scottish accent was very thick, kinda sounded like Sean Connery. "Like wise." I said. "Let me guess...I hear a hint of South Boston." he said smiling. "I'm full of those hints. I was born in Boston." I said smiling. "How wonderful. Boston was one of my favorite places to visit when I was a young lad." I smiled. "Well Alexander I might just have to sneak you back on the plane with me." Maura said. Alexander laughed. "Well the limo is waiting for us. Let's get a move on." He said as he led the way through the crowd. "Limo?" I said in Maura's ear. "My parents always send the limo for me." She whispered. "Ahh." I kissed Maura's cheek then continued to follow her. She smiled and took mine and Ma's arm. "I'm so glad you could come with us Angela." Maura patted Ma's arm. "I'm glad you let me come."
"Did we really have a choice." I mumbled under my breath. Maura smirked at me. We got out and saw a white limo parked out side. "Here we are ladies." Alexander said opening our door. We climbed in and the limo was lined in white leather just like the plane. "your parents sure do like white leather."
"They find white leather so modern, that's why they love it. My parents are innovators, always trying new things."
"So that might mean they are fine with us?"
"Maybe. But we have a two hour car ride to figure this out." That whole car ride was spent figure out a way to break the news and if they say no, a way to change there minds. If all else fails we have diced to just run off together. We climbed out of the limo and grabbed out bags. "Wow." was all I could get out. The castle was amazing. I really can't even describe it, except for the out side is stone and has a big stain glass windows on the front. "So this is where you grew up?" Ma asked.
"Yes it is." Then the two big doors opened and out walked Constance. And a man, which I'm guessing is Maura's dad. "Maura darling." Constance said happily. I think I talked some sense into her last time. "Mother." Maura and Constance hugged. "Hi daddy." she said smiling at the tall gray headed man. "Hi sweetie." He said in a low manly voice. He was very built and looked young for his age. "Jane, Angela. It's so good to see you." Constance came and hugged me. "It's good to see you too Constance."
"Daddy this is Jane Rizzoli."
I stuck out my hand and did a firm handshake. "Nice to meet you. You can call me Charles" he said in a British accent. "It's nice to meet you too Charles. Maura has told me a lot about you."
"I'm sorry but I can't say the same."
"Well you two can get to know each other at dinner." Constance said. We walked into the giant castle. The rest of the night we talked but we just couldn't seem to bring up the fact that we are engaged. So everyone turned in...except for me and Maura. Maura laid there naked on my chest in our room. "This bed is like heaven." I said. "Uh-huh." Maura mumbled as she ran her hands up and down my side. "Stop that...." I giggled. "What."
"This," I grabbed her hand "it tickles." I said. "So your ticklish?"
"No...." I said nervously. "Elevated heart rate and the nervousness in your voice says otherwise." Maura started to tickle me and I laughed. "Maura Maura please...stop...it." I giggled. Maura stopped and kissed me. "I love you Jane."
"I love you too." Then the door opened and I covered the both of us and Maura rolled next to me. "Girls...." it was Constance. "Mother...I-" she cut her off. "Save it sweetie." Constance came over and leaned against the bedpost. "I knew when you two walked up this morning."
"How?"
"I can just tell when something is going on. And also one of you left your panties and a shirt out side of the door."
"Jane...!" Maura hissed and smacked my arm. "Owe...sorry."
"Girls it's ok. I'm fine with it. I'm always saying to embrace change, so I'm here with open arms."
"What about Father?"
"I already told him I thought something was up, and he said he would be fine with it."
"Oh thank you mother."
"You two get some sleep. We have an early morning tomorrow."
