Mauras POV
They have been shopping for a long time. I wonder whats taking them so long? Then the door opened and Jane and Angela walked in. "Hi, how did shopping go?"
"It went great." Jane said walking over and kissing me. "Did you find anything."
"Yes, actually I got what Im wearing in the wedding."
"Really, let me see."
"Its a surprise Maura."
"Jane...."
"You will have to wait." I grumbled then sat back on the couch. Jane came and sat next to me and kissed me. "So did you get your dress?"
"Yes I did."
"Great. Are you ready to get married Maura?"
"More than anything."
One week later.
Wedding Day.
"Maura, do you almost
have your dress on?" Hope and Mother asked at the same time.
"Almost, hold your horses." I fixed the top of my dress so it wasnt crooked then stepped out from behind the screen. "Oh Maura." They both said smiling. "You look gorgeous."
"Thank you."
"Ok lets get your hair done then we will be ready." Hope and Mother did my hair curly and down with it parted down the middle. Jane loves it like that. I hope Janes suit matches my dress. That would be a disaster. Hope and mother finished and I stood up. "Ready Maura." I heard Frankie at the door. "Yes." I walked over to him. "You look beautiful."
"Thank you." Frankie walked me out to my father and I linked our arms. "Maura, you look so beautiful."
"Thank you Daddy." The castle doors opened and we started to walk. I looked over to the door that Jane was walking out of. "Shes wearing a dress." I said looking at my bride to be. I smiled and held back the tears that were burning the corners of my eyes. Jane looked over and saw me. She smiled and i smiled back. She looks beautiful. We got to the alter at the same time and Daddy let me go. I stood in front of Jane and smiled. "Your wearing a dress." I said stroking the lace sleeves. Jane nodded and smiled "You look beautiful."
"So do you."
"Dearly beloved...." The preacher started. Then it was time to say our vows. "Jane, I can't wait to spend my life with you...." I went on with my vows, I told her how much I loved her and that she is the one and that she is perfect to me. Jane told me that she thinks that im just the most beautiful person inside and out that she has ever laid eyes on. She said that she wouldnt want to spend her time with any one else and that she loves me to the moon and back. "Do you, Jane Rizzoli take Maura as your wife?"
"I do."
"And do you, Maura Isles take Jane as your wife."
"I do."
"I know pronounce you spouses for life. You may kiss your bride." I smiled and grabbed Janes shoulders and kissed her. That one kiss, I will never forget.
