Janes POV
I picked Amelia up out of the car and and Joe jumped out with her. I rested her on my hip and she smiled. We walked through the courtyard to the door. I opened the door and saw Maura standing at the bar reading the newspaper. "Hey baby." I said smiling. "Hi Jane." I let Amelia down and she went to Maura. "Hi sweetie. Did you have a fun day with Mama?" Maura asked. "Uh-huh."
"Amelia!!" Charlie came running out from the hallway to Amelia. "Hi Mama." Charlie said happily.
"Hey buddy." I looked at his knee. "What happened to your knee sweetie." I went over and bent down to look at it. "I was playing in the courtyard and fell. Mommy fixed it though."
"Good. Why don't you two go play worth Bass and Dorthea."
"Ok." They ran off down the hallway and I smiled at Maura. "Hi baby." I put my arms around her and she smiled. "Hi, did you have a good day?"
"I had a great day. I missed you though." Maura smiled and kissed me. Later that night the kids and Maura and me sat down and watched a movie. Charlie and Amelia sat down between us and I put my arm on the back of the couch and rubbed Maura's shoulder. I leaned over and kissed her. "Blahhh." Charlie and Amelia gagged. "Hush." Then there was a knock at the door. Maura got up and went to the door. "Carly what's wrong."
"F-Frankie c-cheated on me." she cried. I saw Sarah come running in and the kids jumped up. "Sarah!"
"Jane why don't you call your mom and Vince and ask them to watch the kids tonight."
"Ok." 5 minuets later Ma was at the door and the kids went with her. Carly came and sat down next to me on the couch and Maura sat on the other side. "Tell us what happened sweetie."
"I-I came home with Sarah and I sent her to her room to get ready for bed. I went back into my room and...and Frankie had a prostitute in there. She was taking her clothes off and Frankie was already naked laying on the bed. She got naked and they started to...you know. So then I grabbed Sarah and packed her some stuff then came here."
"Oh sweetie...I'm so sorry." Maura said. "Carly do you want to stay here tonight?" I asked. "That would be nice. A girls night in, might help me get my mind off of this."
"I have some ice cream." Maura said patting Carly's shoulder. "Good. In gonna need it." We looked at her pitifully and hugged her. "Sweetie why don't you go and wipe off your runny make up then come back and we can pig out on ice cream." I offered. Carly nodded and got up from the couch. "I'm gonna kill my brother." I hissed. "Jane we shouldn't get involved. "Well it's kinda hard to now. She came to us for help."
"True." Carly came back and sat on the couch. "So how are you liking the M.E. job in Chelsea?" I asked Carly. "Well it's good. I do miss working for Maura but it's good." I smiled. Maura brought us three spoons and a giant tub of ice cream. Carly started crying again. "Sweetie don't cry...its ok. You will get through this." Maura cooed trying to comfort the young woman. We sat and talked for hours and probably ate 50 pounds of ice cream. "Do you want to go to sleep Carly?" She nodded. I led Carly to the guest room then shut the door. "I swear I'm gonna kill Frankie." I said as Maura led me into the bedroom. "It is none of our business." She said pulling me to the bed. "Yeah I know. But still..."
"Let's go to sleep sweetie." Maura said. "Ok...." Maura wrapped her arms around me and picked me up. I laughed and Maura laid me on the bed. She started to kiss me then she rolled off next to me in the bed. I smiled and chuckled a little. I took of my shirt and pants them crawled under the covers. Maura got up and put on her pink silk tank top and black panties. I smiled at her. "What?" she asked. "Your just so beautiful." Maura smiled and crawled up on the bed. She slyly crawled over to me and cupped my cheek. "You as beautiful as the day I met you." I said placing my hand over hers. I rolled onto her and ran my hands into her shirt. "Jane!" she grumbled. I snickered and started to kiss Maura's neck. "Come on let's go to sleep." she giggled. I buried my face into her back and started to tickle her. "Jane!" she squealed. I kissed across her shoulder as she squirmed to get out of my grip. "Please stop Jane." she whined. "Give me a kiss and I will."
"Ok ok ok. Please stop." I let Maura go and she pushed me off of her. Maura jumped up and ran out of the room. I got up and went to look for her. I got to the yoga room and some one jumped on me and tackled me onto the mat. I opened my eyes to see Maura hovering over me, she looked like she was about to spill out of her shirt. I snickered and she fixed herself. She smiled slyly at me then jumped up and ran off. I ran after her and found her back in our room hiding under the covers. I saw her silk tank top on the bed side table. "Maura not tonight. You wore me out just running around the house." I said flopping down on the bed. "Ugh...ok." Maura groaned and she wrapped the sheets around her. "Good night Maura."
"Good night Jane." she mumbled as she snuggled into my back.
