Your POV

"Hey babe!" He greeted me thru the phone "How's it goin'?"

"Hey!" I replied "I was just wondering when would you want me to book a flight to England?... For ya know... 'meeting the parents'?"

"Oh yeah! I totally forgot about that" he chuckles

"Seriously?"

"I'm sorry babe. I was just busy with work and stuffs" he said "but I already told them about you and they said that they have a monthlong leave from all their agendas two weeks from now"

"Oh. So anytime within that timeline?"

"Yes. But can you maybe book a flight ahead?" He asked "I wanna show you around"

"The following week?"

"That'd be great babe" he said happily "you can bring those friends you wanted me to meet"

"I'll ask them"

"Alright! Let me know"

"I will" I said "but I'm warning you... Those girls are crazy"

"Crazier than—"

"Yes" I cut him off making him giggle "Crazier that myself"

"I'd better get insurance for all my stuffs"

"Get one for your life too"

"Noted" we both shared a brief laugh before someone from the other line called him "uh— Baby I have to go, my partner is ready for our meeting. FaceTime later?"

"Sure. Have a blast babe"

"You too. Love you. Miss you. Take care of yourself. See you soon" he hurriedly said before dropping the call off

"Love you too" I replied to no one exactly

"Who was that?" I heard someone cleared their throat

"Hey" I smiled at the two Cubans

"Monkeyyy!" Camila squealed and ran towards me giving me her infamous koala hug

"Hello there little mouse" I kept my balance and hugged her back "I missed you"

"I missed you too" she mumbled against my neck

"Okay enough" Lauren pulled her girlfriend off of me and then sent me a glare "Asshole"

"Woah" I raised my hands at her defensively "I wasn't gonna steal your girlfriend Jauregui"

"You better not Y/l/n or all hell will rise" she playfully warned

"Duly noted madam" I chuckled

"Monkey" Camila lightly tugged my shirt making me look at her

"Yes?"

"I have something to confess" her eyes landed on the floor

"If It's the cookies it's fine" I smiled but she just shook her head

"You ate all the bananas in the living room?"

she shook her head again

"Right. I don't have bananas in this house. Hmmm...? You stole the cash on my table and bought bananas for all of it?"

And the response was the same

"What is it?" I asked now with concern since she seems to be burdened by something deeper than cookies or bananas
