Stephanie was scrolling through the comments on that night's episode of GTlive.

She was waiting for Matthew to come to bed so they could watch Stranger Things. As she scrolled through she noticed a few negative ones. Then there were more, soon it was all negative and directed at her.

"Oh my gosh Stepfanie was so annoying this stream."

"Why does he always let her join him? nobody likes her."

"She sucks!!!11"

"honestly why he even married to her?"

That last on really hit Steph in the core. Okay, so she and Matthew banter on the livestreams, no big deal. But why was everyone freaking out? Also, why did someone make a comment like that about their marriage. Was everyone that upset about their relationship? She shook the thought from her head. She knew a HUGE majority of the fans loved their relationship and would call them couple goals. That's when she went to google to look at fan made edits of the two. She didn't do it often, but she had to admit their fans had talent.

However, one caught her eye. It was the picture of her and Matthew on their wedding day standing outside the church holding hands. Only in this photo she was photoshopped out and replaced with a outline that read, "Insert yourself here." That was the final straw for Steph. Why would someone think that doing something like that is okay? Did the fandom really hate her that much. She shoved her laptop to the side. She curled up and buried her face in her knees and started crying.

She guessed she was crying louder than expected because she heard footsteps running up the stairs. Matthew opened the door. She looked up at him with tearful eyes. He didn't say anything, all he did was run up to her and wrap her up in his arms. They sat on the bed together as she cried into his chest. He stroked her head and held her tight.

"Shhh, Shhh. It's okay, It's okay. I'm here. What happened?" he asked. Though he figured it was hate comments since her computer was opened.

"Matt?" she asked looking up at him with a tear stained cheek. "Why did you marry me?"

"What?" he asked a little bit shocked. He had her face him and held her shoulders gently.

"I mean all the comments under the last stream say I'm annoying and they feel bad for you that you are married to me and that I shouldn't be included anymore. I've also seen a lot lately saying I don't love you because I don't show affection on the streams. Then this comment today that asked "Why are we even married?". And then I saw a photo from our wedding where they photoshopped me out and were encouraging others to photoshop themselves in. So why Matt? If I'm obviously this bad where people question whether I love you and say I'm a bad wife, why are we still in a relationship?" she finished. Matthew didn't say anything. Instead he pulled her into a passionate kiss. They kissed for a long moment then pulled away. He held her cheek with one hand.

"Stephanie, my love. I love you more than anything else. You are NOT anything any of those "fans" have said. You are such a joy to have on the livestreams and more people watch them now because you are a part of it. As for the affection, I don't care. You don't feel comfortable being all lovey dovey on the streams, and that's okay. I know you love me and lots of other fans can tell too. You stayed with me when we were poor and I was out of a job when another girl would've left. You've stayed up long hours into the night with me on the phone when I drove home just to make sure I didn't fall asleep at the wheel. You do so many things for me in our day to day lives that prove how much you love me. Plus the fans can see it on the livestreams. Anyone who can't see it is obviously blind. And you know every now and again on the streams you'll rest your head on my shoulder or wrap your arm around me or hide behind me when you are scared."

Stephanie smiled at that last part. He wiped away a tear from her face. "Even if you didn't do that on the streams I would know that you still love me. As for all those "fans" who claim they love me more, or claim they could be a better wife, or even photoshop themselves over you in our photos are not and never will be true fans. Our true fans love both of us and would never do that. Because those "fans" would never have made all the sacrifices you've made. And that is the reason I married you. You stuck with me through everything, you are a kind, sweet, funny, beautiful women who stole my heart. Anyone who can't see that is also blind, I love you so so much Stephanie. And don't ever forget that." She now had happy tears flowing down her face.

"I love you too Matthew." He smiled then pulled her into his chest. She snuggled up against him as he laid back against the headboard. He wrapped his arms around her tightly and kissed the top of her forehead. Then he looked down at her laptop. He was about to close it when he noticed all the responses to the hate comments.

"HEY! Leave Stephanie alone!"

"She's not annoying! You're the one that's annoying!"

"Don't you DARE insult my tea burglar."

"He's married to her because he loves her more than anything. So leave them alone!"

"Hey Steph, look." Stephanie sat up and read all the comments defending her.

"I love our fans." she said.

"I love them too." said Matthew.

"Hey, instead of watching T.V, can we just snuggle?" she asked. Matthew smilied.

"Of course." he said. They shut down her laptop and snuggled up in bed, soon they fell asleep wrapped up in each other's arms.
