One Shots

AIRPORT

Stephanie could hardly contain her excitement on the airplane.

She was half way to Ohio to see Matthew in his production of Blood Brothers. It had been two months since they had last seen each other. His family was picking her up from the airport, then they would head to his show later that evening. After the show the two of them would finally get to be together again. They planned this trip, like they do with all their reunion trips the last time they were together. Stephanie only got a few days off from work to do this. She couldn't wait to see him again.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We will be beginning our descent into Columbus shortly. Please put all tray tables up and bring your seats back to the upright position as we begin our descent. Thank you for flying with American Airlines." said the captain. Stephanie got more and more excited. Soon she would see her boyfriend again.

        Stephanie got off the plane as quickly as possible. Matthew's parents were picking her up in the car pick up lane outside the airport. She started her walk to baggage claim when she noticed someone towards the passenger pick up lounge holding up a sign and a bouquet of white roses. As she got closer she noticed it said STEPHANIE on it in big letters. "Huh, I guess another Stephanie is getting picked up today." she thought to herself. However, as she got closer she was able to make out the face of the sign holder. Sure enough it was Matthew holding up the sign with a big smile on his face.

Stephanie gasped then broke into run. She smiled with tears coming down her face. Matthew had the same reaction. Finally when they reached eachother she leaped into his arms with a massive hug. Matthew wrapped his arms tightly around her waist lifting her off the ground. She had her arms wrapped around his neck and her legs wrapped around his waist as she cried into him. She could hear him crying too. She pulled her head away for a second to face him. They both leaned in and kissed each other passionately. She pulled away for a brief moment.

"Oh my gosh, Matthew! When did you... How did you?" she was at a lost for words.

Matthew smilied.

"I wanted to surprise you, so I made you think my parents were coming to get you when really it was me." he said gleefully.

"I missed you so much." she said.

"I missed you too!" he replied. They kissed again then he sat her back down on the ground. They still hugged each other tightly. Then he handed her the flowers.

"Best part is that the show doesn't open till tomorrow. We had our final run through today. I left as soon as we finished so I could come pick you up and we could spend the whole day together." he said. That's when Stephanie kissed him again.

"I love you Matthew." she said.

"I love you too Stephanie." Then they walked to baggage claim with their arms wrapped tightly around one another. This was one of the best surprises Stephanie had ever received.
