About three hours later Robin Hood stands on my doorstep and knocks on the door. I take a deep breath and open the door. "Hi." Is all I can think to say. Well, not all I could think to say. It was all I could say. "Hi." He says and smiles. I move past the awkwardness and immediately say, "I have this amazing wine I think you'll enjoy." Then I walk towards the kitchen. I look back at him when I don't hear footsteps behind me. "Coming?" I ask and beckon him. He steps in and follows me. I pour the wine and hand him a glass. Then I pour myself a glass and quickly drink it. We lean against the island in silence for a moment when he finally speaks. "So, Regina. Since your ex-fiancé... Passed... Have you been in a relationship since then?" I look at him and then down at my glass. "No." I say and push a piece of hair behind my ear. "No one has quite 'caught my eye' since then." I add. "Oh." Is all that he says. "What about you? I barely know you. For all I know, you could be an axe murderer that I've invited into my home." I say teasingly as I pour myself a second glass. "Hmm, I guess I see where your coming from. Miss Evil Queen." He replies jokingly. Usually I would take offense to something like that but this time, it felt different. "Well, I was married once. Shortly after my wife and I got married, we had Roland. But my lifestyle put her in danger and she also passed. Much like.." He continued. He didn't finish but I could tell where he was going. Nervously I drank majority of my second glass. He did the same, still on his first. I started to pour more wine and my glass when I realized he finished his. "Did you want anymore?" I ask and slightly laugh, nervously. "Sure. It's a very nice wine." He offers. He extends his right arm holding out his glass and that's when I see it. A tattoo. Not just a regular tattoo, a lion, tattoo. I steadily pour the wine staring at his tattoo the whole time. It takes me a moment to process it. He has a tattoo, on his right arm, of a lion. "The man with the lion tattoo." Tinker Bell's voice says in the back of my mind. I put the bottle down and back away. This is him. This is my true love. My... Meant to Be.. I think to myself. "Regina? Are you okay." Robin Hood asks and stands up. I walk towards my front door and open it. "I have to go." I announced and walked out the door leaving it wide open. I rush down the sidewalk towards the forest. I hear Robin Hood call my name again but I keep walking. I can't face him now. I hear thunder rumble in the distance. The sky is a grayish color. But at this moment, I need to get away. Somewhere where I feel safe. It starts drizzling so I stop walking and disappear leaving purple smoke behind me. Robin Hood is my true love. And I'm his... The one thing that truly scares me about that is.... I'm slightly happy that it's him.
