I appear in my vault. It's quite spacious and I feel safe here. I sit behind my mother's coffin and lean my head against the wall. "Mother, what have you done?" I ask aloud, my voice breaking. Of course, she is responsible for this. Along with the many other tragedies I've gone through. If she hadn't killed Daniel, I would probably be happy right now. But, I'm also happy with Robin Hood. It's all very conflicting. I stay there for a while deciding whether I'd be happier with Daniel or Robin Hood. About a half an hour later I hear the door open. "Regina?" A voice calls out. Robin Hood. "How did you find me?" I ask. He walks around the coffin and sits down next to me. "Well, I saw the last name, Mills, on the outside and I thought that I might as well give it a shot." He explains. "Would you mind explaining to me why you ran out on our lovely dinner?" He asks. I sigh and explain to him about Tinker Bell, his tattoo, and everything else. He doesn't say anything when I finish. He just stands up and holds his hand out to me, to help me up. I stand up next to him and instantly feel overwhelmed. "I am so sorry, I-" I begin to say but he does something I would not expect. He kisses me. Gently and slowly. I pull back and look at the ground. "I'm afraid." I admit and look up at him. "Of what?" He asks and holds my hand. "To love, again." I answer. It's something I've never admitted to before. "We'll figure it out." He says. I kiss him first this time. It's a lingering kiss. Longer than I expected. I pull back and look beside me. "You know we are leaning on my mother's coffin." I say and push a piece of hair behind my ear. "Well, why don't I walk you home and then I head home myself. I need to get back to Roland, it's way past his bed time." He replies. "Okay. Let's go then." I say smiling. It seems to have stopped thundering. We don't talk on the way back to my house, I just hold his hand and he holds mine. Finally we get there and I step back inside my house. "I suppose I will see you tomorrow?" Robin asks. "Of course." I answer and kiss him one last time. "Goodbye, love." He whispers and walks away. I close the door slowly. Everything is perfect and at peace. I lean against the back of the door for a bit, thinking of how happy he makes me. This, is how things are meant to be.
