Chapter 6
I woke up in a hospital bed. Baekhyun was next to me. He sighed when he saw my eyes open. He called over a doctor and informed them that I was awake. I looked at my hand. And IV stuck in the vein. I was scared and I had a hard time breathing.
"What relation do you have to the patient?" A doctor asked Baekhyun.
"We're really close friends." he said
Yeah. We were just friends.
"Where are her parents?" the nurse asked.
"They went on a business trip. They won't be back for another week." Baekhyun looked over at me and smiled.
"Has the patient had any symptoms like this before?"
"Yes. Once before."
I've had symptoms like these before?
"Please explain."
"Sure. When her father died-"
My father is dead!?
He continued with: "That was the night before her accident."
Accident?
"I see. Thank you." the nurse then left.
Then I was knocked out with medicine. At least I think I was.

I woke up again in the hospital bed and I wasn't given any information. They made sure everything was alright and then they discharged me. I sighed with relief as Baekhyun helped me out of the hospital. We finally got on the road home and we were home quickly.
"Hey. Want me to do your-" Baekhyun began.
"I'm not going to school." I said.
"Why?" he asked.
"Cause I'm sick and I don't want to."
"Okay."
He walked to his house across the road and waved goodbye. I waved back, went inside, and fell right asleep. I was wiped out.
It was 3 in the morning when Baekhyun Kakao-ed me.
BAEKHYUN: You asleep?
JIN KYUNG: Not anymore.
BAEKHYUN: How are you feeling?
JIN KYUNG: Uneasy.
BAEKHYUN: Why?
JIN KYUNG: My dad is dead?
BAEKHYUN: You didn't know?
JIN KYUNG: No. I don't remember his funeral or anything.
BAEKHYUN: Oh...
JIN KYUNG:Do you know why? What's wrong with me? WHY DON'T I REMEMBER MY OWN DAD!?
BAEKHYUN: You deserve to know, but that's not my call.
JIN KYUNG: THEN WHO'S IS IT?
BAEKHYUN: I'm sorry. I really am.
I didn't respond.
BAEKHYUN: Look you sort of had an accident. That prevented you from attending your dad's funeral.
JIN KYUNG: I didn't go to my own dad's funeral?
BAKHYUN: Thay wouldn't allow you. We tried everything, but they were very resistant.
JIN KYUNG: What accident?
BAEKHYUN: ...
JIN KYUNG: WHAT ACCIDENT!?
BAEKHYUN: That's all I can say.
JIN KYUNG: WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!?
He never responded to me.
