Shopping went so well. I got so many new things!

We got to the bike road and I got to test out my new bike.

It didn't come with training wheels, and I didn't know how to ride, but I guess I learn things pretty easily.

I could do it, I was going slow because my grandma was walking, and I wanted to keep up.

We went about a half of a mile, and I saw this boy, about my age.

He waved at me I waved back.

Losing focus, my bike ran into a tree. Grandma was far behind.

I saw the boy running over.

He put his hand out.

I grabbed it.

"You, uhh, okay?" He said scratching his head.

"Yea!" I jumped up.

"Audrey?" I held out my hand.

He shook it, "Jack.."

"Oh, cool." I looked at my bike, stained up with stains and a popped tire..

"Jeez, banged up bike there.." He said also staring at the bike.

"Yea, just bought that today.." I said.

My grandma walked up.

"Audrey, dear are you okay?" She said.

"Yes, fine."

I think he noticed the rug burn and scar on my arm.

I held back tears thinking of those dreadful memories.

"So, hey, wanna hang out sometime?" He said.

"Uhh, yea sure, maybe learn a little more about each other?" I giggled stupidly.

"Nice going Audrey, nice going." I whispered in my head.

"So, yea..see you around!" He said waving and running back to his bike and hopping on it.

Once he got on the road he popped a wheelie.

"YEA SEE YOU AROUND!!!" I said smiling and waving.

"Great first impression..." I whispered again.

"So, jack huh..nice kid.." I said.

I walked over to my bike and wiped some of the dirt off of it.

I walked it back to grandmas car.

"Audrey I'm gunna cook supper, you go upstairs and wash up, I'll get someone to come fix your bike tomorrow." Grandma said walking over to the sink and washing her hands.

"Okay." I ran upstairs and hopped in the shower.

Today was honestly the best day of my life.
