Chapter 6

HELL WEEK! And by means of hell ---- EXAMS!

Ngayong araw ang exams at buti naman at todo aral ako. That's the least that I can do para ma busy ko lang ang aking sarili. Sobrang litong lito na ako sa mga kinikilos ni Chad.

Akalain mo nga naman, CL means Chad Lim! Gaaad! Why didn't I think of that? Akala ko kung sinong CL. Si Chad lang naman pala. Inamin niya na siya yung nagpapadala ng mensahe. Nakuha niya ang number ko kay Ria. Ugh that girl.

When I arrived at school, nagmamadali akong pumunta sa classroom. Hindi naman sa iniiwasan kong makasalubong ang moko pero ahhh basta nalilito ako. I felt relieved ng pumasok sa classroom dahil wala pa ang taong ayaw kong makita. I saw Jacob reviewing his notes. I sat beside him at nagulat naman siya. "Hi" I greeted and he just nodded. He continued reviewing his notes at ganon na rin ginawa ko. After 15 minutes of reviewing, I decided to go back to my armchair. "Good luck on your exams, Thalia." Jacob said and I just smiled and said likewise.

Nung nakaupo na ako, my heart skipped a beat when I saw Chad entering the classroom walking towards his armchair. Bago siya umupo our eyes met. He winked at me and umiwas na lang ako ng tingin. Magsisimula na ang exams and all I can do is to focus and concentrate.

The morning exams went well. I have answered all the questions that had been asked. I texted Pia na magkikita na lang kami mamaya. I still have two exams left in the afternoon and I need to study. I went to the mini garden of the school para doon na lang mag-aral. Habang nag re-review ako, someone tapped my shoulder. Muntik ko na mabitawan ang aking libro. "Hey been looking for you else where. Andito ka lang pala." I gave him a "bakit mo ba ako hinahanap at anong kailangan mo?" look. He just sat beside me na parang wala lang.

Hinayaan ko na lang siya and Ijust focused on reviewing my notes. Habang nag re-review ako, minsan tumitingin ako sa kanya. In fairness, seryoso siya while he's studying. After reviewing my notes in my last two subjects, binasag ko ang katahimikan. "Chad, magsabi ka nga ng totoo. Why are you suddenly being friendly with me?" I asked him. He just gave me a faint smile and I wonder why. "Hindi ka naman mahirap maging kaibigan eh. If you only knew Thalia. If you only knew." He replied. He stood up and never looked back. If I only knew what? Damn these thoughts are killing me.

My exams in the afternoon went well. Buti na lang at nasagutan ko lahat kahit na parang sasabog na ang utak ko sa kakaisip sa mga salita at kilos ni Chad. Buti na lang at last day ng exams bukas. My training will resume tomorrow after the exams.

Napagisipan ko muna pumunta ng music room. I still have 30 minutes to wait for Manong Rolando. As I entered the room, doon ako pumunta sa may piano. I sat down and started to play If Only by Dove Cameron. (Click the video at the side)

I haven't experienced this kind of feeling before. I can't even decide for myself. I don't know if tama nga ba papasok ako sa isang sitwasyon na walang kasiguraduhan.

Sana nga lang alam ko ang mga sagot sa mga tanong ko. If only I am smarter to figure things out. Yeah, If only.

After I played and sang the song, I sighed heavily. I was surprised when I heard a clap. It was Jacob. Hay isa pa to eh. "No wonder someone had a head over heels sayo. The song was great and you really have an amazing voice." Jacob complimented. "Stalker ba kita? Haha bigla ka nalang kasi sumusulpot. But thank you." He just smiled. Jacob just accompanied me until dumating yung sundo ko.

"Thank you Jacob." I said bago ako makasakay. He just smiled and nodded. Alam niya na siguro kung para saan. I waved at him at tuluyang umalis na. Nung nakauwi na ako sa bahay, agad ako pumunta sa banyo. I took a quick a shower at nagbihis ng pangtulog.

I ate dinner alone dahil next week pa babalik ang parents ko. Busy din ang kuya ko kaya napagisipan ko na lang na mag-aral para sa exam bukas. After 2 hours of studying, I decided to rest. My phone beep and I checked kung sino.

It was from Chad. Ayan naman yung mga mensahe niya. I didn't bother to reply. I forgot that it was Ria who gave my number to him. Kakausapin ko na lang bukas si Ria. For now, I just want to rest. I just hope I can figure things out sooner. Sana nga lang. Sana...
