Finally Found Someone

Chapter 10

Sometimes having a big brother is all you need. Someone who will stand by your side and hold your hand. When things don't go well, he will help you understand.

Ngayon ang uwi ni Ahia Travis at papunta na kaming airport ngayon. Masaya ako at nandito sina mommy at daddy. I know how busy they are pero pina-prioritize pa rin nila kami ni kuya. Nung makarating na kami sa airport, na una akong bumaba ng sasakyan. Yes, ganon ako ka excited makita at makayakap ang big brother ko.

After 1 hour of waiting, nakita ko na si Ahia Travis walking towards our direction. He's wearing a white long sleeves with matching gray coat and slacks and a Salvatore Ferragamo shoes. Kung hindi ko lang siya kapatid, malamang iisipin kong artista siya. I ran into him. Hindi ko napigilan ang excitement ko.

"Ahhhhiiaaaaa Travis!!!" Niyakap ko siya ng mahigpit. "Aww shobe, hi-hindi aaa-ako makahingaaa." Sabi niya at napabitaw naman ako. "I miss you too shobe." And he kissed my forehead. Ahia hugged mom and dad. *What makes a brother-sister relationship special is the way each one remember the other when they are apart. They miss the talks, laughs and the time they spend together. Life changes but memories don't." I can't help smile in that thought.

"Hey pipsqueak. You're smiling like an idiot. Sino bang iniisip mo diyan?" Kuya nudged me. I just smiled at him. "I was just reminiscing things about us. Siguro nangingibabaw lang ang happiness ko kasi nandito ka at minsan lang tayong magkakasama." Ginulo niya ang buhok ko. "Come here. I miss this kind of moment too shobe." I just lean on his shoulders at ngumiti.

"We're happy to see you both like that." Mom said happily. "Travis and Thalia, always remember that the love of family is life's blessing. Family is the center of life and it is the key to eternal happiness." Dad said at tumango lang kami ni Ahia Travis. Wala na akong hihingin pa higit dito.

We ate our lunch at Chinese restaurant. As usual, Ahia and dad discussed about business at kami naman mom ay nag kwentuhan about clothing line. Masaya kaming nagsaluhan. After we ate lunch, mom and dad went back to their offices dahil may aasikasuhin silang importante. Even Sundays they still work but we're all grown up to understand that. Para din naman samin yun. Niyaya ko na lang si Ahia Travis umuwi since pagod siya at may jetlag pa.

I noticed my phone vibrated. I forgot naka silent pala to. It was a message from Chad.

From: Chad Lim

Hey, got a minute?

I replied immediately. It's been 3 days since umamin siya sakin. I tried my best to ignore it pero hindi talaga mawala sa isipan ko.

To: Chad Lim

Why?

After 5 minutes he replied.

Meet me in the gazebo

I didn't bother to reply. Ano naman ang kailangan ng moko sakin at may pa meet me in the gazebo pang nalalaman?! Nagbihis lang ako ng denim shorts at v-neck white shirt. I just texted him na papunta na ako ng gazebo.

Nung malapit na ako, I saw him waiting while holding his guitar. *May jamming ba kami ngayon? Ba't di ako na orient?* Hay nako Lia umayos ka. Kung ano-ano ang iniisip mo. He lift up his head when he noticed na nandyan na ko. I saw a small curve forming on his lips. "Thanks for coming Thalia" He said at tumango lang ako. "Ahh, ano bang gagawin natin dito? Why do you have a guitar?" I asked him.
