I always thought the rain was pretty
But it became beautiful when I saw you standing in it
You leaned out your window to catch the cold rain drops in your hand, like you thought that if you caught them, you could keep them.
It didn't seem to bother you that your clothes were drenched and your hair was now curling from the rain.
And when you looked at me, with those innocent light brown eyes, I saw perfection
Your skin was lightly tanned under the droplets of water on you. Your freckles shined on your cheeks like the stars shine against the night sky.
Your eyelashes were so long and soft, that I could see them flutter against your cheeks from my window.
I could tell you were small, maybe 5'5... everything about you looked adorably dainty. Your nose, your hands, your waist.
And when I saw that you were staring back at me with the same look of admiration, I couldn't help but smile.
When I opened my mouth to say something, anything at all to you...you disappeared
It was funny to me how easily something so precious could disappear in the blink of an eye.
All I wanted in that moment was you.
But why was I thinking like this? Like I wanted to love you and hold you till the last rain drop fell to the ground.
