Chapter 36: Flight ticket

Maria's POV:
I opened my eyes the next morning to see if last night was all a dream but once I rolled over to see Joel I knew it was real. My eyes started to swell from the flashbacks of last night. I never knew love can hurt this much.

"Maria?" I rolled over and saw Joel awake next to me. I moved closer to him and rested my head on his chest.
"You deserve way better Maria." Joel said quietly.
"Why does it hurt so much." I said as tears started to fall down my cheeks.
"I know it's painful Ria, but everything happens for a reason and sometimes you are just going to accept it." Joel said. I laid there quietly and started to take in what he has said.
"I think I'm going to go back to London today." I said.
"One thing that I will say to you is, do whatever makes you feel happy. And if it means that you are going to go back to London and create music then do it. Richard, Zabdiel, Erick and I will always support you, no matter what path you take." Joel said.
"I'm gonna go book my ticket back to London." I said in a sad voice. Joel removed his arm from my shoulders and I sat up and grabbed my laptop from the bedside table. I opened my laptop and booked my ticket back to London. Once I had booked my ticket, I started to pack my suitcases up ready for the flight home. As I was in the bathroom getting dressed in my plane attire, a knock was heard from the front door. Joel opened it up and three boys came in. I walked out of the bathroom and saw Richard, Zabdiel and Erick sitting on the bed talking. Once they had seen me they got up and walked towards me. One by one they wrapped their arms around my body. We stayed like this for a few seconds until we pulled apart.

"I'm going to fricking punch him." Zabdiel said.
"You don't deserve any of this Maria, he is so stupid for what he has done." Richard said.
"Yea he is pretty stupid." I said with a little laugh.
"Is it ok if you can drop me off at the airport." I asked the boys.
"Sure we can." Joel said.
"I'll make sure Christopher doesn't come out of his room." Zabdiel said. We all nodded and he left. I grabbed my bags and we started to walk out of Joel's room. Erick's phone binged and Zabdiel said that we are safe to walk towards the car. I pulled my suitcase along and walked towards our hire car. As I was putting my bags in the car, Zabdiel was walking towards the car. All four of us got in and we drive towards the airport. The car ride was silent since the boys knew that I didn't want to talk. We finally arrived at the airport and all of us got out. I grabbed my bags and started to say goodbye to the boys. One by one we have each other a hug.

"Stay safe Maria." Joel said.
"Will do Potato." I said with a smile.
"I better get going, I love you boys so much. Always remember that. Good luck for the rest of your tour and I'll see you guys soon." I said.
"We love you too Maria." The boys said. We did a group hug and I left knowing this wasn't the last time I'll see them.
