"Dasom-ah," Joy softly tapped her cousin on the shoulder.Dasom groaned, opening her eyes to see Joy standing infront of her, "Why?" She asked, still sleepy.
"Can you transfer to Areum and I's room? I need to leave and open the shop now. Areum's still sleeping though," Joy said.
Joy doesn't like leaving Areum alone. She always feel uneasy knowing that Areum is unaccompanied. Even she's just going to take a bath in the morning, leaving Areum all by herself in their room doesn't feel so right for her.
And the reason might be because she knows too well how it is to be alone. How sad and lonely it is.
"Sure," Dasom got up from her bed and followed Joy, who's about to leave. She locked the door and went back to sleep next to Areum.
Joy went to the front door of her shop and saw Jiyeon standing there, waiting for her. "Good Morning," She greeted her with a smile.
"Good morning, Unnie," Jiyeon greeted back. The two of them went inside, putting their aprons on.
Joy went behind the counter while Jiyeon put down the chairs from above the table, starting their day off at work.
As usual, their first customer went running inside, a huge smile plastered on his face, "Good morning Sooyoung-ah," Hanseol greeted.
Joy had to look down, pretending to fix the cash register in order to avoid looking at Hanseol. For sure her cheeks is red.
Joy know that she is developing a little crush on the older. She's not a teenager anymore but she don't want to tell Hanseol about it. She don't want to be awkward around him and he's such a nice guy.
Joy can't lose him.
"Good morning." She said with a sweet smile as she prepare for his order. Hanseol doesn't need to say his order anymore because it's the same thing anyway. He will speak up if he wanted some changes but it stays the same most of the time.
Joy handed Hanseol his order, the latter paying before speaking up, "Hey it's Sunday tomorrow,"
Joy finally looked up at him, a sheepish grin forming on her lips, "Yes it is," She said, becoming so shy all of the sudden but Hanseol doesn't seem to notice.
Hanseol chuckled before tapping Joy on the shoulder, "I'll work hard," He said, "I'll go now, fighting!" He left the shop, leaving Joy staring on nothingness, it's as if she can still feel his warm touch on her shoulder.
Every Sunday, Hanseol volunteers on being her worker without a payment. Joy doesn't know why, and Hanseol only said that Joy amazes him with her capabilities as a single mother and a businesswoman. He said he looks up to her.
Joy don't know if he's hitting on her or he's just plainly nice but one thing is for sure.
She likes Hanseol.
