a rant about makeup and bigotryI don't like wearing makeup. Some people would then protest makeup in general and stop everyone from wearing makeup and declare people who wear makeup are bad and should be arrested or killed.
Instead, I just won't wear makeup.
If you don't like abortion, don't get one.
If you don't like gay marriage, don't get married to someone of the same gender.
Why should your opinions get to make other people's decisions?
If you don't like something, why should your opinion of that stop everyone from having it?
Why should your thoughts control other people's lives?
Why should one person's views on something subjective choose other people's fates?
Your opinions don't get to decide the course of my life. I won't let them.
If you don't like makeup, don't wear makeup. That doesn't mean no one should wear makeup. That just means you have your opinion and other people have theirs. It's not an excuse to control someone else.
