Oumasai is my favorite! There are so reasons why I loved them as couple. They are just so adorable together.

What I like about it is that they try to understand each other by spending time together. Kokichi cares about shuichi. He even said to him that he would let Shuichi in his organization so he wouldn't die. On top of that, in the hotel Love suite, Kokichi sees him as a detective which means that he really sees the real Shuichi. Finally, in the free time event, he confess his feelings towards Shuichi. Sure, he may be a conplusive liar, but deep down he really loves him.

It is also hinted that Shuichi has feelings for him too. He doesn't mind hanging out with Kokichi as he wants to understand him. In the free time events, when Kokichi hurts himself playing the knife game, Shuichi was worried and help heals his cut. Despite Kokichi being a liar, Shuichi learns that he cannot change Kokichi' lying. Instead, he just has to understand him.

So... This song is sad, short, and you guys may not heard of this singer before. The song I chose is called I Don't Wanna Do This Anymore by Xxxtentacion. This song actually reminds me of Kokichi's love toward Shuichi. If you listen to the lyrics carefully, you will understand why it can relate to Kokichi. Here is my scenario on Kokichi based on the song:

Kokichi should have told Shuichi that he really loves him when they were spending time together. He even wants to make love to him in the love suite hotel. Kokicho knows that Shuichi has feelings for him.

Now, here is the sad part:

Shuichi was mad at Kokichi about what happened at the 4th trial and said to him that:

"You're alone, Kokichi. And you always will be."

Shuichi's words really broke Kokichi's heart because he was in love with him and how his actions affected Shuichi and the others.

Then, Kokichi doesn't want to be hated by everybody. Instead, he wants everybody to love him since Kokichi is alone, heartbroken, and doesn't want to love himself.

Now, he is on the hydraulic press, accepting his death. His final thoughts were about how things would have been different if he didn't wear his mask of lies and didn't caused negative actions. Instead, he wants to show his true emotions to Shuichi and tell him that he loves him.

i see this as a tragic love story because he died knowing that he will never get the chance to romantically spend more time with Shuichi.
