~Lisa POV~

" Pranpriya!" I heard her call my name once again. I looked back and forth trying to find the source. Her voice was rough and gritty as if she'd been crying or... Or if she was currently crying or struggling. "PRANPRIYA!" She yelled again, this time louder and more panicked. Not knowing what was happening to me or to her, I ran towards her voice.

I rounded a corner and frantically looked around and saw her. Or, what I assumed was her... A hooded figure stood over her body and looked at me slowly. I couldn't see their face but... I could feel that they smirked... My eyes widened as they fell on my mom. She was on the ground, on her body was... blood. The gooey red liquid that dripped down like a fresh wound. Her kneck was sliced and showed how completely and utterly dead she was. The hooded figure tilted their head and ran towards me. "You weren't here to save her, Pranpriya..."

"NO!-" I yelled as I bolted up in my bed, eyes wide and covered in a cold sweat. "Shit..." I whispered and covered my eyes, pulling my knees to my chest. My breathing was heavy and I felt my heart beat out of my chest. I was jolted away by a sudden touch on my arm. My eyes darted to the new alien feeling and I saw Chaeng looking at me with a worried look. Her touch was kind and soothing and she smiled at me.

"You... You were yelling... Are you okay Lisa? I think you were having a bad dream..." She whispered to me in a calming voice and I couldn't help but take a deep breath and feel relaxed from her. I closed my eyes, knowing I was drenched in a cold sweat, had disheveled hair and must've looked completely embarrassing.

"I... yeah I am now... Thank you Chaeng..." I whispered in a soft and raspy voice. "I'm sorry that I woke you... It was just a...  A horrible dream... I whispered and unknowingly clung to Chaeng's arm. Her smile turned from worry to caring.

"Don't worry... I had nightmares my first night here too... I missed home... And you know what helped me then? Sleeping with my stuffed animals..." She smiled at me nervously. But since you just moved in... I... I can lay in the bed with you if it would help..." She offered with a pink blush on her cheeks. I looked down and thought to myself. I just had met her... Why would I... Why would I let her sleep in the bed with me? I mean, yeah she's beautiful and I'm sure she's amazing to cuddle... But I met her less than a day ago... Just a few hours.

I must've taken way too long to answer her because she slowly shook her head and quickly apologized. "Ah, I'm sorry Lisa... That was way too forward of me..." She looked down in embarrassment. "I'll... I'll lend you my teddy..." She whispered in a defeated voice and retrieved a soft looking bear from her bed before handing it to me.

"No-I..." I paused nervously. "I... Can you stay with me until I fall asleep... Then when I am asleep you can return to your bed?" I asked, hoping that was a complete compromise that she'd be fine with. Her eyes lit up and she nodded happily. That smile... God was that smile amazingly beautiful... It was one of those smiles that could make anyone's mood light up in but a second.

"Yah!? You sure that's fine with you?" Her smile became more and more bright by the second. With a chuckle, I scooted closer towards the wall, letting her climb on next to me. It was very awkward and I could feel the tension in the air. She nuzzled her head in the crevice of my neck and twined her legs with mine, letting our bodies face each other in a comfortable cuddle. I let my eyes close slowly and let her body warmth consume me. I slowly felt her forehead touch mine, my cheeks burning with a bright red coloration. I heard her voice heighten in pitch, sounding very adorable as she giggled. "You're blushing..." She mumbled to me and shyly cupped my cheek. "Sleep well Lice..." She smiled more. At my own embarrassment, I let the light and warmth fade away to a new dark sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~ The Following Morning ~~~~~~~~~~
As the blaring sound of an alarm filled my ears, I covered my face with a hand, an unknown warmth consuming me. I let my eyes flutter open to see a rather adorable sleeping figure clinging to my sleeping body. My eyes widen as I saw how close we were; the heat of being that close burning my cheeks to a warm red color.
"Ch-Chaeng..." I whispered, the alarm now stopping and set to go off again in a few minutes. "Chaeng... Wake up..." I shook her body slightly, the uncomfortable feelings consuming me as she nuzzled into me more, lessening the space between her body and mine. "Chaeng," I said once I got my voice back and she slowly let her eyes open for a moment, that sleepily deep brown color looking into my eyes and causing my heart to skip a beat. "We have to uh... Get ready for school," I mumbled, more embarrassed now that she had awoken.
As reality came to view I could only guess that she was embarrassed herself as she slowly and hesitantly slipped out of reach and retreated to her bed. "S-sorry... I fell asleep..." She whispered and turned off the alarm clock completely. She slowly got up and went to her closet, looking for her uniform. I took in a deep breath and went through my own clothes to find mine as well. The silence was very awkward and consumed us as we got dressed and physically ready for class. She applied her makeup and got ready as did I.
Once we were all ready, we headed over to Jennie and Jisoo's room and knocked on the door. Jennie answered and I'll admit her beauty in the morning was more radiant than anything I could ever achieve. She looked amazing. Once that cold look turned into a gummy smile, everything faded away. It all went away. I couldn't help but blush as I looked at her.
"Jennie-unnie! You guys ready to show her around the school and help her with her classes?" Chaeng asked with a bright and cheerful smile. Jennie nodded and I saw Jisoo peek over her shoulder with a mischevious grin. I looked at her with a confused look before her hands snaked to Jennie's waist and tickled her sides, causing Jennie to burst out in laughter and squirm away from Jisoo and run into me. My eyes widen but I caught her and blushed more.
"Hey if you wanted me to hold you, you could've asked." I teased, causing her to stand up swiftly and shake her head, her cheeks bright pink as well. I could only smirk at her reaction and step back. "Anyways, shall we? I kinda would like to know how to find my classes before it's time for them..." I mumbled shortly after. Jisoo looked at us and nodded grabbing her stuff and handing Jennie hers before heading out the door.
"Did you get any sleep last night, Lisa?" Jisoo suddenly asked as she eyed me. I tilted my head in confusion and looked at her curiously.
"What do you mean? I... I did sleep, yes."
"Your bags under your eyes.. they... they're really prominent." She spoke with a worried tone. One that reminded me of Chaeng's last night. I felt my brow furrow and I looked at the ground. "Lisa?" She asked again and I looked up at her, letting my memory of last night fade away.
"Ah, uh no I did get some sleep... Just missing home..." I lied, my gaze adverting from any of the three. A new awkward silence emerged as we all just stood there. I refused to look at any of them and I could only assume that they kept looking back and forth at each other.
"Well, uh let's go to show you around, yeah?" Chaeng broke the silence and I couldn't help but smile at her warmth in that statement. She was trying to help me and I really appreciated it. I swiftly nodded and looked at her with thankful eyes. Altogether, we made our way to the main building. This day was already off to an interesting start.
AHHHHH hellooo~! This chapter is a bit more convoluted than I wanted but my words were kinda blury today as I've been sick >.< I'm sorry guys and hope you get the message I'm atempting to convey.
