"So (y/n), what are we wearing to prom?"
I look at my best friend slightly confused.
"You know, so we match. That is a thing isn't it?"
"Yeah that's a thing."
I take a sip of my milkshake.
"But since when were we going to the prom together? I thought you were taking Betty."
Jug's eyes widen.
"Oh shit."
I watch in mild amusment as Jughead packs his stuff up in a panic.
"See you tomorrow (y/n)."
Jughead's p.o.v
I feel bad about leaving (y/n) to walk home alone but I need help. I approach Archie's house and knock on his door. Fred opens it.
"Hi, Mr Andrews. Is Archie home?"
"He's upstairs."
He steps aside to let me in and I run up the stairs before bursting into Archie's room.
"Woah! Hey Jug."
"I need to ask (y/n) to prom."
"I thought you already asked her."
I rub the back of my neck sheepishly.
"Yeah I uh forgot."
"I'll help seeing as I've already asked Veronica."
I spend the night at Archie's planning a decent proposal. The next morning I'm parked outside of (y/n)'s house on my bike.
"What are you doing here Juggie?"
She asks as she locks the door behind her.
"I'm treating you to a breakfast at Pop's."
She smiles her beautiful smile and hops onto my bike. We stop outside Pop's and I lead her to the entrance where Kevin is waiting.
(Y/n)'s p.o.v
"Kevin, why are you here?"
"Dramatic irony bitch."
I pout at him and start to push open the door to Pop's when Jughead stops me.
"Kevin you forgot the blindfold."
"At least I didn't forget to ask the girl-"
Kevin is cut off by Joaquin who silences him with a short kiss before pulling away.
"You'll ruin the surprise Preppy. Anyway I've got the blindfold."
He states, holding up a strip of black material.
"Kinky. Why do I need a blindfold to eat breakfast?"
Jughead leaves my question unanswered and ties the material over my eyes.
"Great now I can't see."
"Oh shush (y/n). It'll be worth it."
I shut up as Jug guides me into the diner. I panic slightly when his hand leaves mine ,because hello I can't see, but relax when another takes his place.
"You can take the blindfold off now (n/n)."
Archie tells me. I do as he says and gasp...
