Gilbert stared in the mirror of his dressing room, buttoning his tan suit and unbuttoning, buttoning and unbuttoning. To say he was nervous was an understatement, Jesus this was the scariest day of his life but also probably the best. He'd seen Elizabeta marry Roderich when they were younger and now she would be his after all these years. He'd loved her since he'd met her and now he'd make her his.

The door opened and Gilbert turned around to see his little brother, Ludwig, standing in a proper black suit. He shuffled in and shut the door, his Best Man for the wedding could've been nobody besides his little bro, "U-Uh Alfred and Mathiaz vant to come in and nobody vants to ztop zem." He warned.

Gilbert grinned at the mention of two of his closest friends, "Let zhem in!" He shouted and as if on cue, the two other members of his awesome trio burst in and then unexpectedly Francis and Antonio appeared too.

"We found these two as well!" Alfred shouted and the four men entered. Gilbert looked uncomfortable at the sudden addition of people, his people skills sucks, but he didn't say anything, knowing Gilbert needed the confidence boost of his friends.

"You couldn't keep us out iv you vanted to~" Francis said as he entered further into the room with Antonio who agreed, "Mon amie, you look wonderful." He said as he clasped Gilbert's shoulders, like a real prince."

Gilbert smiled and Mathias pushed Francis away, "Man I can't believe you're crazy enough to get hitched!" He shouted in his loud ass voice, "I mean, really, it's wild." He stepped back when Antonio poked his shoulder.

"Mi amigo," Antonio began and his emotions began to come to the surface, he was quite emotion when it concerned things such as romance. It took him a moment and then he said, "Well...well, good luck." He then gave the albino a hug that lasted a little longer than normal.

Antonio was replaced with Alfred a moment later and he began bouncing excitedly, "Dude this is like a real thing. Like a thing thing, you know? A thing! You're doing the thing!" He began shaking Gilbert and he began laughing finally, breaking at his friends.

"Danke," Gil said after a moment, fixing his buttons one more time, "I vas zcared...I'm not zcared anymore." He said, going through the line of his best friends with hugs. When he finished on Antonio who was struggling with tears, he turned to Ludwig. Gilbert wiggled his eyebrows and Ludwig cracked a little, leaving the wall he had become a flower on and hugging his brother.

The two Germans hugged tightly, both of them knowing this was one of the most important days for the older of the two. They pulled away and Ludwig clasped his hand, "Zhe'z a hell ov a voman." Ludwig finally said, "Gut gemacht." He added.

Gilbert grinned, "Yeah..." He sighed happily, thinking about the woman who ran through his dreams every single night, "Zhe really iz." He snapped out of it and saw the assortment of people in his room either looked extremely moony for his love struck face or making teasing imitations of him, "Vell, let'z do zhis." He said.

They all nodded, all the men being his groomsmen. Gilbert left the room and headed into the chapel, walking in, heading to the front of the chapel. It felt a little weird to wait for his bride, but, he could wait. He stood near the priest and then he heard the music change, he turned to watch the wedding party walk in and started to grow a little more impatient as time went on. He did think they all looked astonishing but he wanted to see his bride!

Finally, it happened. Elizabeta showed up, her dress was strapless and form fitting but the end fanned out sort of like a mermaid dress, whatever that is. Her bouquet was beautiful but, her face was more beautiful. It was weird, he swore she'd never been more beautiful. His eyes began to water up but he didn't look away from the blushing woman heading down the aisle, smiling uncontrollably.

When she made it to him, Gilbert took her hand and she brushed a few tears from his face, "Jesus you should've told me jou were gonna cry." She teased as they headed to the priest together, mostly ignoring his Bible passages.

"Jou look zo beautivul..." Gilbert whispered, even through her face was slightly concealed by her veil, he just felt like his throat was closing up. Elizabeta blushed a little and then they heard the priest announcing that they would then say their vows. He turned to the priest who nodded to him, so he looked at Elizabeta and spoke happily, "Zhere iz...an old myth zhat ztatez zhat zoulmatez vere zeprated becauze the Godz vere vrightened ov how ztrong zhey vere together. Zoulmatez must zhen zearch vor zheir other half forever zhat zhey lost. Jou are my ozer half, let zhe Godz be avraid - zhey cannot keep uz apart." He felt his blush climbing up his neck, "Vrom zhis day forward I promize to hold you cloze to me, to hold jou, and to love you. Vor az long az we live."

Elizabeta's smile grew almost tenfold as she heard him speak and soon it was her turn. She closed her eyes to calm down a little bit and then opened them, "Gilbert, I love you. You are my best friend. Today I give myself to you in marriage. I promise to encourage and inspire you, to laugh with you, and to comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle. I promise to love you in good times and in bad, when life seems easy and when it seems hard, when our love is simple, and when it is an effort. I promise to cherish you and to always hold you in the highest regard. These things I give to you today, and all the days of our life." She finished speaking and shyness overtook her.

Gilbert fought his tears again and the priest spoke again, "Then I now pronounce you man and wife." He spoke. Gilbert had to fight his urge to bounce as he and Liz's eyes met, "You may...kiss the bride." He finally said.

Gilbert gently lifted her veil and moved it over her head. He smiled a little and Elizabeta grinned wider, "God jou're zo beautivul." He mumbled and before Elizabeta could respond, he'd pulled her in and kissed her as the class cheered
