Leon shifted on his toes as he waited for Emil to answer the door, he had an assortment of flowers in his hands and a reservation for a restaurant. After a few moments he heard shuffling and grinned, the door opened and Emil smiled but Leon could tell something way off.

"Why are you so pale?" Leon asked while walking inside without waiting for an invitation, he made sure to kick his shoes off while he did, "You got thermometer here?"

"It's nothing, Leon," Emil waved his hands to try and dismiss the worries, "We gotta make those reservations you...you already paid." He tugged on Leon's sleeve lightly to try and urge him towards the door.

"Nope," Leon shook his boyfriend's hand off as he searched through drawers for a thermometer or something. It took a few moments to find one and he turned with it in hand, "Say ah!" He demanded.

Emil begrudgingly complied, he opened his mouth with a small, "Ah..." And Leon put the thermometer under his tongue while pressing the button. He put his hand over Emil's forehead and frowned, "What?"

"You're so hot," Leon mumbled, "And I mean your forehead." He added with a grin, Emil's rather pale cheeks became a light pink after the statement. The thermometer soon beeped and Leon took it, 39C, definitely fever, "Well we're staying here today."

Emil frantically shook his head, "But the reservation! It's wasted money!" The Icelander always worried about money but Leon didn't really care for it, "We'll just be sitting and eating anyway."

"Nope!" Leon picked up the much smaller boy and carried him into the living room of the apartment, "You could get others sick and anyway I don't want you to be miserable and upset all dinner because you're sick." With that, he dropped Emil onto the sofa.

Emil stayed silent as this happened, he sort of gave up. Leon was a stubborn person he wouldn't give in no matter what when his mind was made up. He sighed and shook his head, putting his head on the armrest of the couch, "Fine. Lee, I'm kind of tired. Is this ruining date night?"

Leon leaned down and pecked Emil's forehead, "Nah I'll make some dinner and we'll watch some movies for date night. You can fall asleep after dinner if you want but I'll be happy just to be spending time with you."

Emil smiled and nodded a little, "Okay. Can you make noodles? I like the way you make noodles." He shifted to try and get more comfortable as he spoke.

"Of course you do," Leon held up one of his arms and flexed it, "I'm Asian!" Emil chuckled a little which made Leon smile as he left to the kitchen. He looked around and frowned, it was almost empty. Must be because Emil isn't living with his brother, Lukas, who did all of their shopping for the both of them.

Setting aside the judgement of Emil for not having a full kitchen, Leon began putting together what he had. There were spaghetti noodles which were a start even if Leon preferred making his noodles from scratch, thankfully a bit of what he needed for sauce here and there. He could make something acceptable with what he had it just wouldn't be up to Yao's standards which were what he was used to.

Leon began by heating a pot of water, it felt weird to skip straight to this part but Walmart noodles had to go one way or they'd come out weird and sticky. It sucked a little but Emil wouldn't notice, once the water was boiling he put the noodles up and stirred them idly while prepping the sauce. Tomato sauce seemed appropriate, no meat though since Emil didn't eat things that had faces.

After maybe thirty minutes it was done, he had drained the noodles and combined the sauce. He stirred them together and then separated it onto two separate plates, grabbing some forks for them. It took a second to balance them on both of his hands and then he went to the living room where he spotted Emil, asleep.

Leon giggled a little and set the two plates onto the table, grabbing the remote and moving Emil's head to rest in his lap. Emil stirred a little and looked up, "Mm...Lee, that you?"

"Morning sleepyhead," Leon poked the other's nose and then helped him sit up, "Just kidding it's only been a little bit. I'm gonna put on the new Lion King, okay?" Emil nodded and grabbed his plate.

"Sure, I love watching Mufasa die," He mumbled and then looked up at Leon, "That was sarcasm by the way." Leon smiled as he turned the movie on and began eating his plate of food, "Beyonce is in it so that's enough for me to like it."

"I hope Simba isn't such a little bitch in this version," Leon mumbled and Emil laughed at him, "Oh! I almost forgot a blanket." Abandoning Emil Leon went to the hallway closet that he knew had blankets and grabbed the biggest comforter that he could find.

He brought it back and sat down, throwing it over the two of them. Emil had finished by the time Leon got back, he put the empty plate onto the table and then leaned into Leon's shoulder as he continued to eat. The iconic opening began with an almost exact replica of the animated movie's opening which was a nice familiar feel.

About halfway through the movie, Leon realized Emil hadn't moved for a while and noticed he was sleeping, "Cutie." He moved slowly and as gently as he could to lay down with Emil on top of him. It took a few minutes because he didn't want to wake up the sick boy.

When the two were settled now Leon paused the movie and wrapped his arms around Emil and closed his eyes, no reservations were worth more than just spending time with his favorite person in the world.
