Upon getting back from the park and ice cream parlor she layed Sonic down for a nap. About an hour later Alexandria came in looking worried and exhausted. "How did it go?" Vanilla asked upon seeing her. "Not very well. He is trying to gain custody over Sonic." Vanilla looked down in silence. "I don't know why he wants to take Sonic, after all adopting a child was my idea, he went along with it but it wasn't what he had wanted." Vanilla looked at her. "I am sure he won't get what he wants, after all who could take away a child with such a loving mother?" Alexandria smiled a bit. "I don't know, but all this is unnecessary drama." Vanilla gave a nod of agreement.
Two hours passed and Alexandria went to check on Sonic. Sure enough he was up and playing with his toys. "Mommy!" He yelled happily as she entered the room. "Hello, my little angel." She said and scooped him and kissed his cheek. Sonic giggled a bit. "How about we go out?" Alexandria said randomly. Sonic got excited. "Yeah!" He said. "Great, I've arranged a play date with you and miles." Sonic eyes lit up with pure joy. "Alright then, let's get you ready first, and then we can head over."
