Addy POV

As i looked away and walked into the building i tried to calm my nerves .

I walked into the meeting room and i had a feeling someone or a set of eyes were looking at me and i turned and saw they were Ethan's who was looking at me like i just fell down from heaven .

I was thankful when my Dad and the other board members came into the office .

"Good day Mr Gilbert" greeted Ethan.''
"Good day famous Mr Grey" my dad answered ,and added .

"Well let's Begin the meeting as I have other meetings today " .my dad said .

Just as I thought everything was going well my dad now had to spoil it by adding.

"My assistant CEO can tell you the other things you need to know".

The meeting started and it's just remaining about fifteen minutes to get done , and i'm here on my chair fidgeting with the hem of my cloth and dreading the talk I have with Ethan.

Now I'm in the washroom thinking of how to act when we are talking about the business deal we are about to sign and of course its remaining only my dad's signature before we can sign the contract.

I'm on my way to my office so I can finally talk him and be done with it as soon as possible ,and i still have to pick up Bethany from school.

I looked up from my table and saw Ethan enter into my office. I quickly went to my desk and sat down while gathering the papers to get it ready .

While doing this I looked up and saw Ethan looking at me and what I was doing with interest .

I just ignored him and waited for him to speak but he was just looking at me. I cleared my throat before speaking .

"Um if you are ready can we start".

" Yea sure ".

He then came to the chair opposite mine and sat there still not taking his eyes off me .

"Um where do you want to start from " i asked awkwardly .

He didn't answer I had to call his name before he was brought out of his world of thinking, and i could not help but wonder what was going on in that mind of his .

I could only hope he would not try what i was thinking , cause i have no time for any confrontation right now and I still have my daughter to think of , that reminds me i will have to call my brother to help me pick her up from school as i wont be able to pick her up on time .

He seems to have come out of his world of thinking as he has started opening the file and was reading the it , I could do nothing but stare at him till he was ready to start .

He cleared his throat and started telling me what he suggests for the work and i was jotting it down but i couldn't concentrate as i smelt his favourite cologne , it still annoys me that even the smallest thing about him i still remembered and it was annoying as hell .

Once we were through I stood up and started clearing the office so i can go have lunch before going to my brother's house to pick up Bethany .

Just as I was about leaving the office I noticed Ethan was now standing at the door and I decided to now go but he refused to leave the way .

"Can you please move out of the way" I said but he replied me by saying
"I would only if you have lunch with me" and now I was beyond angry so I took my bag and passed under his arm being not too tall has its own advantage but before I left I made sure I told him never would I ever go out with him, I could see the hurt on his face but I couldn't care less.
