Maya's POV
I walked down the fire escape. It's been two hours since I was at Riley's soothing her after the bloody break up.
Slowly as I jumped with a THUD! on the ground I heard a noise
"Maya?" It said, I turned around to see zay
"Hey zay? You stayed?" I laugh as I walked over to him
"Yeah...and I gotta show you something." He grinned
"Okay." I shrugged and he started walking with me following
We went across the road and he turned right not exactly talking to me. He then turned into a street. A cold dingey street.
Weird teens and elders laughing and smoking, and I remembered- this had been my life before I met Riley, I would come here and hang with elders or my age kids steal things and run from the police. I wonder why zay bought me here...
"Zay?" I whispered.
"Jeez maya! Keep walking and don't look  in the eye." He said pulled his hood down over
"Moron? Why'd you get me here?" I said through clenched teeth as I moved closer to him
But instead a big guy had come right in front of us: blonde hair, icy green eyes, and I guess quite fair. That was all I could see in this less light
"Maya?"  The guy whispered and realisation hit me
"Roger!" I squealed and threw myself in his arms as he picked me up and turned me around laughing loudly
When I was little I had runaway and had come here. People had not treated me well, but soon I came here everyday and roger had noticed me he is five years older and treated me like his little sister. He always cared for me and then I met Riley. I broke every kind of relationships with this place. I remember too well that I had been eleven when I came here for the last time and had hugged everyone who knew me. They all had finally said goodbye and roger had gifted me a guitar.
"What you doing baby?" He whispered in my ear and I giggled
He always called me either baby or little sista!
"My friend got me here." I said as he put me down
"Maya we gotta go!" Zay urged
"Fine! Roger we gotta go now." I sighed
"Well! At least come and visit please, we miss you! You can meet Tyler and Rachel and Reynolds and Stormi!" He said excitedly reciting names of my old friends
"I will. I promise." I replied firmly. he gave me smouldering kiss on the cheek
I set off again behind zay and then he started walking towards a guy standing alone in front of a wall which had inappropriate graffiti all over it.
"Go." Zay whispered and pointed at the guy and left, I walked over to him alone feeling utterly uncomfortable.
"Excuse me?" I said as I approached him with caution
The guy flipped his hoodie of revealing the handsome jawline and soft green eyes smashed with chocolate brown hair
"Maya!" Lucas whispered tears splattered his face
"Maya did you ask me who I wanted?" He whispered
"Did you see my eyes when I was hesitant to tell you who makes my heart flutter?" He asked
"Did you maya not realise that I gave up my first date for your happiness?" He asked in a broken voice and at this point tears had welled up in my eyes as realisation hit me
"I did all this. Not Farkle." I croaked
"So sorry." Lucas replied
There was complete silence for two mins
"Do you want to date him?" Lucas asked
"Huh?" I looked up into his green eyes
"Do you want josh?" He asked, I wanted to say yes but my heart told me not to and my heart yet was saying the truth
"What can I say?" I replied in a choked whisper
"You don't have to..." he replied and then as swift as wind his hand cupped my cheek my eyes widened, and his lips warm lips smashed on mine making fireworks in my body burst in all directions
He nibbled on my upper lip and his tongue asked for entrance. I stayed put and his hand snaked inside my shirt making me gasped giving him full entrance his tongue wrestled with mine, and then my hand crept up to his hair pulling him closer as I realised that this was not a mistake. It was so not a mistake.
