Chapter 10- Jealousy

Jungkook's POV

Jieun has stayed inside the castle for 3 months now.

To be honest, I'm kinda impressed. She learned so much in a span of a month, she mastered hand-n-hand combat for a month and a half, fencing for two and doing castle chores for half a month
She really is a fast learner, although, I can't help but feel uneasy and enraged everytime she and Taehyung are close.

It feels like as if they've gotten closer to eachother each passing minute, and the thought of it just pisses the shit out of me.

Worst part is? I have no idea why.

I... I think, I may have fallen in lo-

"Uhm, your majesty?"

A voice spoke, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"You, uh.. called?"

I lifted my head up and smirked at the person.

"Took you long enough, noona"

Jieun scoffed.

"Why did you call me here?"

"Relax, babe. I just wanted to show you something"

I got up my throne and reached for a small velvet box in my pocket.

"Did you just call me babe?" She raised a brow.

I chuckled as I walked towards her, not breaking eye contract.

I stopped infront of her and opened the box.

Her eyes widened as she stiffened up.

"Happy Birthday, noona."

Jieun's POV

"Happy Birthday, noona."

Jungkook spoke.

I couldn't move a muscle when he reached inside the small box.

The item inside the box made me breathless.

A necklace. It was simple. But.. there was something that made it intriguing.

I could'nt quite put a finger on it.

But what shocked me more is that the Jeon Jungook, gave me a gift. For my birthday.

He went behind me and put the necklace on me.

He went infront of me again, and smiled, genuinely.

"Come..."

He reached out a hand for me to take.

I hesitantly took it as he lead me to a garden I never have seen in this castle before

It is magical.

I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I snapped out of my thoughts, realizing that I stared at the garden's beauty for too long.

"Do you like it?" Jungkook asked with a sickly sweet tone.

"I-- y- No."

Jungkook frowned.

"I love it" I spoke.

He blinked his eyes repeatedly and showed me his infamous bunny smile.

He took me by the hand and led me to the center of the garden.

"Well... from now on, this is your garden"

I was taken aback by his actions today.

Is this the real Jeon Jungkook? Was the cold and harsh nature of the demon all an act? Was he actually just a big fluff of ball on the inside?

"I-I don't know what to say..."

Jungkook placed a finger on my lips.

"You don't have to say anything"

I felt myself blush when he slowly started to lean in.

I felt him wrap his arms around my waist as I, too, leaned in.

Our lips were only a few inches apart, until someone fake-coughed behind us.

He immediately pushed me away, both us blushing, while looking down.

I slowly looked up only to see Taehyung.

His looks angry and... hurt?

"Your Majesty, Jimin wants to have a word with you" Tae said nonchalantly.

Jungkook only nodded and got out of the room, Taehyung following behind.

What the hell happened?

Taehyung's POV

I glared daggers at Jungkook's back.

How dare he make a move on her when he already knows I like her!?

I bit my lip at the scene a I had just witnessed earlier.

Jieun noona, why would you want to kiss him back?

Do you like him? Have you fallen inlove with the devil itself? Do you not like me?

I felt jealousy boiling inside me as I continue Jungkook.

Although I know Jungkook wouldn't kill me if I betray him, I know for sure that he will make my life worse than this hell-hole.
