Chapitre 43 : Les Nouveaux Copains

When the whole family arrived back at their colony, they made sure the rats were not misbehaving in any way. Thankfully, they were socializing peacefully even when Django was not present. Git must have done a great job. "Well, I'm proud of you," Django said as he walked up to Git.

"Thank you for the compliment," Git said.

"Any reports?" Django asked.

"Nothing serious, and nothing special," Git replied. "Everyone was just hanging out and minding their own businesses. Since it was not time to gather food yet, there were no chaos with working."

"Well, that's nice to hear!" Desiree said.

"So did you do anything else while watching over the clan?" Django asked.

"Well, I did talk to my friends also," Git replied honestly.

"Oh? What did you guys talk about?" Desiree asked.

"Because they asked about how it feels like to be attracted to male rat, I told them about my experiences and how I feel about being in a relationship with Remy," Git said. "They seemed to be very interested."

"So can we get the exact story?" Desiree asked. Git narrated the story about his conversation with his friends:

"So, Git, how does it feel like to be attracted to another male rat?" a young rat named Nino asked curiously.

"You seem very interested in this topic," Git said.

"Yeah, tell us everything about it!" another young rat named Dominique demanded.

"Well then," Git started as he cleared his throat. "The thing is, it's just like being attracted to opposite gender. Only thing that is different is that some rats, maybe it's only us, but in Remy's situation, he was really scared when he realized that he had a thing for me, he was really scared. He was scared that he would be abandoned by his family, by the whole rat clan, get abused by someone else, you know, a lot of things related to non acceptance that puts them in fear. Even when we started to be in a relationship, it was still not easy. Not just him, but in fact, I was afraid also. We were afraid of being abandoned by everyone else. But thankfully, many or all of you guys were pretty open minded about it. So we don't have to worry anything about that anymore."

"Can you also tell us about what happened during the relationship?" another young rat, named Raphaël requested.

"Yea tell us!" Dominique demanded.

"Oh man, this is gonna be interesting!" Nino sounded very enthusiastically.

"Why are you guys so interested in the story about our relationship?" Git urged.

"Come on, please tell us!" Nino begged.

Git rolled his eyes. "Oh, all right," He sighed. "Well, we went out, travelled, and had dinner together numerous times. And we're always there for each other when any of us need help. We share happiness, sorrow, pain, fear, anger, disgust, well every emotion ever existed."

"Aww, so cute!" Raphaël put his hands on his cheek.

"Tell us more about travelling!" Nino wanted to know more.

"We visited Eiffel Tower, Champs-Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame, and Palais Garnier. We're gonna visit more." Even though it seemed like Git was annoyed to tell a story, but he was still open to tell them.

"Wow, were they all good places to visit?" Nino really got into his journey.

"You bet," Git said as he shut his eyelids softly and reflected on his adventures that he had with Remy. "None of the places disappointed us."
