How Sweet It Is: Jonah Beck

"Cyrus are you sure about this?" I ask when he knocks on Andi's door "Please just give it one good honest try" he says "Fine" I say as Andi opens the door "Hey guys!" Andi says "Hey!" we say in sync giving each other a playful glare

She lets us in so we placed our bags down and laid down with everyone, the seating arrangement was from left to right on the couch was Buffy, Andi, Jonah, me, Cyrus, then finally Tj

We put on the movie Avengers: Age of Ultron  and started watching laughing almost all the way through, whenever I would laugh I could see Jonah taking quick glances over at me, I only caught him a few times though and every single time I caught him he would blush

When the movie ended it was time for the boys to leave and spend the night over at Jonah's house so I walked the boys out so I could talk to Cyrus  "Cyrus I'm nervous" I say "Everything's gonna be okay" he says giving me a hug in which I return "Bye Cy I'll see you tomorrow" I say "Bye Iris same to you" he says leaving with the boys so I go back inside the house

"Okay were gonna talk about boys now" Andi says as we grab a tub of chocolate ice cream with three spoons then go to Andi Shack sitting on the floor in a circle "Buffy you start" Andi says "I met this boy at a party his name is Marty and I don't really know what we are or how I feel" Buffy says "Andi how about you go" I say "Well I like Jonah and he says he likes me but he doesn't really like labels so I don't know if we're going anywhere" Andi says "My turn I guess um I don't really like anyone I just have so many issues in life that I kind of want to focus on those" I say "What about Tj? He seems very fond of you" Andi says wiggling her eyebrows "I don't know" I say "Hey what if we crashed the boys party" Buffy says "Sure" Andi says then they both look to me for approval "That sounds fun" I say "Awesome let's grab some silly string and sneaky outfits" Andi says going into her box of party supplies for three cans of silly string then into her closet to grab us all sneaky outfits then we all change and start walking to Jonah's house

"I want to thank you guys for letting me into your group I really appreciate it I don't really have any friends" I say "Of course you're super awesome" Andi says "Wait you really mean that?" I ask "Yeah in the words of Jonah Beck you're docious magocious" Buffy says so I hug both of them "Thank you" I say "You're welcome" they both say then we get to Jonah's house

We sneak over to his bedroom window opening it quietly then jumping in having Andi silly string Cyrus, Buffy silly string Tj, and me silly string Jonah, Cyrus ended up accepting his fate letting Andi silly string him, Tj and Buffy were basically playing tug of war with the silly string can, and Jonah managed to grab the silly string can from me effectively chasing me around he house while spraying me

Jonah and I made it to the kitchen which is where he ran out of silly string "I'm gonna murder you" I say running towards him but he picked me up and spun me around then let me down keeping me in his arms which eventually made me uncomfortable "Um I'm gonna meet back up with the girls" I say getting out of his grip walking away but he grabs my hand as I do "Iris you have to stop running away from things that make you uncomfortable" he says "I will eventually just not today" I say "It makes me feel bad when you don't want me to hug you" he says "Jonah I just I can't get into this right now maybe some other day when we've been friends longer and I feel comfortable revealing this to you just not today okay? Bye Jon" I say "Bye Little Flower" he says as I meet  the girls back up in the bedroom leaving Jonah in the kitchen

"Hey! Where's Jonah?" Tj asked "Um he's in the kitchen he should be back soon" I say then walk over to Cyrus "You and I need to talk tomorrow" I whisper so he nods giving me a quick hug goodbye before the girls and I climb out the window taking the walk back to Andi's house

"When we get back before we head to bed will you guys help me get all this silly string off of me?" I ask "Of course we will" Andi says "Thanks guys" I say "No need to thank us that's what friends are for" Buffy says making me smile really wide "You know maybe this whole school thing won't be so bad" I say "As long as you have us you'll be fine" Andi says "Yeah it'll be nice to have friends that are girls for a change I mean all my life it's just been Cyrus and I but Cyrus isn't to great at boy talk or fangirling so I'm glad to have you guys" I say "Of course and we'll be there for whatever kind of talks you need girl" Buffy says as we get back to Andi's

We change out of our sneaky clothes and into or pajamas then we spend the next hour getting silly string out of my hair yep I'm definitely going to have to murder Jonah for that later but for right now I'm stuck things about what he said to me regarding facing my problems, whatever, after the girls finish helping me we brush our teeth then lay down on Andi's bed falling asleep soon after
